Funny you mention this because I did the same thing except I folded up an old window sunshade between the sunscreen and the roof. It works surprisingly well for heat reduction and noise. I used a black sunscreen so it all blended in.
This works so good I actually lined the overhead rear seats...
I've never heard of this stuff, but I'm interested now. I was just entertaining painting the interior of my top anyway. I'd like to know if it's gypsy water though.
2021 34k miles. I've added coolant twice. Once when new and once again at 30k miles. It was a small amount, maybe 2 or 3 ounces each time. I don't have any strange smells from the exhaust.
Thanks for the Amazon links. I bought the same and love it. Carplay works fine with the cable and adapter. I can finally live in peace without staring at the open media cover.
Those videos are for the HD Duramax which historically allows manual regen with idash.
I don't have the idash yet. We need a 3rd gen Ecodiesel owner with idash to confirm. Functionality is not the same for every vehicle, but you would think Banks would let us get to it since it is an option...
I've looked into this too. Banks doesn't allow regen from what I've seen. I plan to use idash as my monitor and then force regen by Alfaobd if the need arises.
I've only used some cheap ones from Amazon if not using the Milwaukee panel. Search for packout feet and packout cleats and you'll see many options. Your use case may dictate something other than cheap plastic, but they work for me.
You probably can't go wrong with the Xtrusion rack. It will likely be the most versatile.
I'm a fan of Leitner designs because of their sliding roof rails so you can use the entire bed. If Xtrusion could match this feature, you'd have the best rack.
Rebel Offroad offers a rack with optional...
31k miles and my diesel has never done anything to raise an eyebrow. Very smooth and quiet. If it feels off to you I'd take it in. It's been sitting on the dealer lot for quite awhile. Burn off all that old fuel, change your fuel filter, and use some Hot Shots EDT. Do you know if you're getting...
Sure thing. I don't think these will win a Pulitzer, but I hope it helps. If you're going to use the Niteize cam lock, you'll have to cut off the end of the Softopper strap so it can feed through. It's just a small piece and I melted the ends to stop fraying.
I went with a Noco 2D permanent mount. I ran an extension cord (with wire protection loom) down the left side of the frame and terminated it with a Noco AC port. I used a Curt generic trailer light mount bracket that lined up with the Noco mounting screws perfectly to mount it to my Softopper...
I'm thinking about getting a ready ramp for this. I really like Curt's solution with a fold down gate, but they don't make it for midsized trucks yet.
I've been eyeballing some UTV bed extenders. I've found some that are 50 inch that just might work. They also provide a swing out or fold down...
Which bags did you go with? I went Firestone thinking they might be better than the Air lifts, but I see very few complaints from Air lift users. I think the Air lifts may be more pliable than the Firestones.
They were a bit of a pain to install under my shade tree so I haven't taken the time...
I've been in the same boat for a couple years. Don't really want a lift, but it seems the only way to get the ultimate solution.
I tried in coil bags (Firestone) and one started leaking after only a month so I gave up.
Timber Grove Enterprises has the best air bag system I've seen, but it will...
We all think CMM is too much and end up spending more re-engineering something inferior.
I love Jeeps because they're like guns. You learn to buy once and cry once.
CMM is top notch American made kit. Spend the money. Do it.
