I'm personally finding my trailering options to be limited with my 21 JTRD. Perhaps you'll be better off with the Pentastar. If I were in your shoes, I'd keep the Titan. My wife and I love the Jeep, but often find ourselves wanting for a bit more interior space. The V8 and full size truck is a...
I tried the Firestone flavor of coil bags. The right bag wouldn't hold air after only 3 months. Complete waste of money and time.
Timber Grove Enterprises makes a nice air bag setup.
I'm leary after my bag experience though. Springs is the right way to go.
I have the Softopper and don't have any of the described issues. Zero vibrations and it doesn't flap in the wind closed or in safari mode. I have it wrenched down pretty tight though. I run it on the lowest height adjustment option to drop it below the cab just a smidge. Maybe this has something...
Another vote for seat jackers. Made the biggest impact to ride comfort for me. I might throw in some comfy sheep seat covers later on down the road for that 70's grandma couch feel.
If I find a spare $8, those Recaro seats look amazing.
Have you checked to make sure all your fuses are fully seated? I used to get this when my rig was new. I found multiple fuses needed a gentle nudge back in place.
Another vote for diesel. There is no comparison in my opinion. The 3.6 is anemic. Drive them back to back and that's all you need. Yes, you will sometimes feel like you're driving a small tractor around, but you'll be smiling the entire time.
The maintenance is no big deal. I personally change...
I've had this in my Amazon list for awhile. Never bought it, but it might be close to what you're looking for. Shows unavailable at the moment though. POFENZE Wrangler Roof Rack Hard Top Cargo Basket Luggage Carrier for Jeep Wrangler JK JL JT Gladiator 2007-2022 https://a.co/d/djwO8nO
Check out seasucker.com. Maybe that will spawn an idea or two. RAM mount might also have something you could adapt.
Low tech option would be a lap desk of some kind. Like one of those I'm in bed and lazy trays or a portable laptop desk.
I think your problem is the two battery setup. Stupid question, but did they check for proper voltage on both batteries? Cold weather sounds like a battery issue.
It required zero modifications, but there is a trade off. I had to gracefully flex the front clip portion of the ProClip down over the rubbery head unit bezel. It doesn't touch the screen at all, but it holds it tight enough to leave an impression in the bezel. The mount is currently held in...
Seems risky. They misspelled filter. If they can't spell the product they're selling, what else did they ignore?
I'm happy to pay a little more for peace of mind.
I put on a Softopper and love it. I run in safari mode 99% of the time. If I need to keep elements out I just drop the back and sides. It folds down out of my way to carry tall items.
