I recently changed out the OEM Rubicon Wheels with 285/70 x 17" Tires to the OEM Rubicon Exreme Recon Beadlock wheels with 315/70 x 17" tires. I have a slight rub on the inner fender liner on the passenger side and will be trimming it soon. I was curious of the exact specs between the two...
Thank you for the files. They do help clarify the install. Do you think the only difference between the kits is just the shocks or do the springs and shocks match? Just curious on that. What did you think of the ride compared to your stock setup?
After writing the above I kept searching...
There appears to be two versions of the kit, one with Fox shocks (77072468AE)and the other with Bilstein Reservoir Shocks(77072468AF). Has anyone used the one with the reservoir shocks and are their mounting locations already there so no drilling or modifications have to be done to add them. I...
You're moving the bead of the tire to the outside of the rim and it's held in place by the ring. I doubt you gain a full inch, but technically it would be wider. Of course there are no DOT approved wheels fhat are beadlock, even if the rim is DOT approved when not used as a headlock.
It is not two reboots. Just one and two sleep cycles back to back.
After making all of your changes, scroll to “full reboot?” and select it.
Wait for the countdown, then perform two sleep cycles.
The quickest way to do two sleep cycles is to turn the ignition off, open and
close the driver’s...
I wish I would have noticed you were in Stafford Va instead of New Jersey like your listing shows. I local to Stafford and just ordered these new online.
I see these are Load Range E tires and are 10ply where the ones that come on it are Load Range C or 6 ply. The E tires will have stiffer sidewalls to support the extra weight they are designed to carry. Are you loading your truck a lot or towing to move to this load range?
There is no cable to run with a Tazer. Just unplug the two existing cables in the SGW module and plug into the Tazer. In my experience, the Rebooting and Sleep process must be followed after making any firmware changes with the Tazer, and sometimes has to be repeated to properly "take".
First, the Tazer does NOT plug into the OBD2 port. You also don't need ANY extra cables with the Tazer. Just unplug the two cables from the SGW Module (not to be confused with the OBD2) and plug them into the Tazer. DONE, ready to program using the steering wheel buttons as per their...
The extension cables are not needed when using the Tazer. You unplug the two cables that are plugged into the SGW module. and plug them into the Tazer. The SGW module connectors are left empty. No other cables are needed.
But since the two SGW cables are a PITA to unplug and plug back in...
Anyone have these OEM blacked out LED Headlights either from the factory or added them after they got their Jeep? https://www.allmoparparts.com/sku/68596461aa.html
Since it appears to be a blacked out reflector and not a glass tint, they should be just as bright as the non blacked out versions.
