  1. Official EcoDiesel Oil and Filter Recommendations

I believe it was discussed in this forum, but there was a fella that had an engine failure and used Amsoil. FCA rejected a warranty claim due to an unapproved oil being used. So, I'll need something better to document my files if I were to use it. As stated in my previous post...I want to, I...
  2. Official EcoDiesel Oil and Filter Recommendations

Have been known or commonly known??? Simple, if MS-12991 isn’t on the bottle don’t put it in. I was recently shopping for gear lube so I also looked to see if some others around has upgraded their packaging or specs. I was crossing my fingers hoping Amsoil was there but it wasn’t listed on...
  3. $4000 budget for lift and rims and tires.

(That's just unAmerican) That's just dumb. (not to mention depressing) Life happens to the best of us. Better to be prepared than dwindle down what reserves you have by non-essential purchases that can be made later. (The man came here to feel good) he should feel better others have crossed...
  4. $4000 budget for lift and rims and tires.

Those of us that don't take handouts when in-between jobs know the value of self control.
  5. EcoDiesel badge

I’ve been saying I was going to remove mine since I picked it up 10/ā€˜21…but haven’t yet. My thought is that it may make it more prone to the cat/def theft…like I was victim of in 2014’ish.
  6. Diesel oil filter.

...same here and mine changed about 5% ago didn't have the green dot. Must be mold being dated in 2020...:surprised:
  7. Saying hello- New Owner

Welcome! I've heard about it but don't' think it's ever quit on me. I do know that the phone is sensitive to the cord that's used. Apple cords don't last long and a heavy duty truck stop cable is actually not bad. The one I have now is about a year old and once about every 3-4 months I have...
  8. Wheel offset to get optimal tire poke?

I'd purely be speculating if I said I knew. I do know that the factory lengthened the jounce bumper tubes on the Diesel models so whether or not that added a spacer someone with a Mohave that's checked will have to chime in. Now I can say that the Rubicon models sit a touch taller than...
  9. Wheel offset to get optimal tire poke?

Keep in mind, when they sell a 370 modified vehicle (JL or JT) it comes with their wheels and 37ā€ tires.
  10. $4000 budget for lift and rims and tires.

Id say, if you’re going to upgrade down the road, why not limit the parts you’ll have to remove and resale at a heavy discount and start with a lower level kit like the Clayton Offroad Ride Right+ kit?
  11. CP4 Fuel Pump EcoDiesel Recall

Well, not knowing what kind of mods you're talking about makes this more difficult. If there the plugin power modifying type, I'd remove them until the warrantee work is done. Why? If it happens away from home and it's towed to the dealer your screwed. If it's a winch or bolt on, I plan on...
  12. CP4 Fuel Pump EcoDiesel Recall

When I took mine in I think they checked the vin and date of manufacturer and that's it. They're not going to take things apart because they don't have the fix yet. Since this is a safety recall, they're not going to wait until it fails otherwise that's a huge liability for them. Now, when...
  13. CP4 Fuel Pump EcoDiesel Recall

I would absolutely NOT do it yourself. Let the Dealer do it. Don't give them the opportunity to deny your recall claim.
  14. Wheel offset to get optimal tire poke?

The only thing with this field was that you can’t take wheel width into account.
  15. Diesel oil filter.

Both, but have only used Mopar to date. Knowing they’ve been one of the supply line issues, I have 3-4 in storage…along with 7 5qt jugs of the special sauce. Of course I’m dealing with a 3.0L Italian diesel so I don’t know if there’s been an issue in getting supplies for the 3.6 or not.
  16. If you had $1500 to spend on your Jeep today....

Save it and put it toward a suspension or tires. I would also strongly consider putting it toward a goose gear rear seat delete system. I’ve already bit the bullet on the winch, COM’s and an on-board air system.
  17. $4000 budget for lift and rims and tires.

My recommendation to you is to fix the laid off problem before you entertain the thought of spending $4000 on anything. That’s speaking from real life recent experience.
  18. EcoDiesel Coolant Leak

Do it I didn’t take that sucker into the dealer let them mess with it. One of the nice things about status still being within warranty.
