Thanks! Here are some detailed pictures...key thing is we stretched out the legs of the rack to the extremities of the bed so we could give the cover enough space within the legs...
I can roll it all the way back between the front towers but I get ample access without squeezing it in there and...
Hi everyone - hope you are staying safe...
My OCD is making me want to consider getting labels for the AUX switch covers for the items I've wired in there (On Board Air, Front Spots, rear work, Aux 4 blank for now).
Any company out there doing replaceable plastic covers that have labels we can...
Actually quite annoying to us :)...they also came with the 255/75-17 tires instead of the 285/70-17...so 32s...same gearing and such...also with the narrower diffs however with the OEM lockers...super weird, but I'm happy with exactly what it is (width wise as well)
Installed on Thursday and barely did more than 20kms...so hoping after the curfew we have in Dubai, will get some mileage and settle a bit...I'd like to order the high line Mopar fenders to make sure the 35s have enough space...
...and Thanks!
Yes, running the 2.5" lift kit.
The Export Rubicons came with 32" tires...but the measurements I mention above are with the same tires (35") and stock JTR suspension.
Before (stock Export JTR suspension with an M8274-70 up front, and out back an RTT, Rack, 65L of water, fridge slider, air compressor and tank, and an AGM battery), and after (same gear):
Front rock rail: 16.5-20
Rear rock rail: 17.5-20.5
Rear under tent: 69-72
So +3.5” front and +3” rear
Thanks! I've been posting on various places this idea in the hopes that it catches on...also, must be the cheapest 180 tent they produce because it would be the smallest footprint, but allow for at least two to sleep (length would be 50-55" of the hardtop, x2 over the hood...so 100" of length...
Well the Evo 2.5” lift kit is in and I’m loving it! Rear shocks definitely need to be stiffer so for now the OEM Rubicon Fox 2.0s are in there with extensions, until we get something beefy...
Before/after height differences:
Front rock rail: 16.5-20
Rear rock rail: 17.5-20.5
Rear under tent...
If they would do a JT180 tent to replace the top above the 5 seats and fold FORWARD above the hood with access from the rear seats or from a ladder on the front bumper (or in front of it) would be AWESOME...
Keeps our bed free for whatever we want, and keeps the COG low...(ish)
Exciting day today! The 2.5 Evo Overland Stage 1 lift will be going in. Got the basic kit with no shocks as I'd like to hold up for the 3.0 Fox IBPs, the RK rear Pro-X upper 4 link kit is clearing customs and should be with my by Monday so will install thereafter. I did get an adjustable front...
FAK mounted...highly recommend this quick release system from Outerlimit Supply (mis-quoted before that it was Blue Ridge!):
List is getting shorter...by Saturday I should receive:
Evo 2.5" lift (will reuse OEM Rubicon Fox 2.0 shoe with extenders until the Fox 3.0 IBPs or Ohlins are available...
