Lol.... I've used that joke for a number of other cars, in the past, cept I usually word it as 'Porcupines have the pricks on the outside' ;)
(around here, I tend to apply it to GMC owners... can't tell you how many I see around here, that have zero regards for any rules of the road... from...
Had a similar situation when I first got my license. I was literally driving for about 3 months, when some lady backed into my car, putting a dent in it. She said for me to call her, and she'd arrange for the repairs, gave us her phone number.. and left.
I got home, told my dad.. and he...
Huh... deja vu..
Starting to think it's something with BMW drivers, honestly.
(I made a similar post, a few weeks ago, when a gal smashed her door into my rock sliders... lol.. that poor door)
Our next door neighbor's daughter has a BMW, and has wrecked it a couple of times, already, too...
Pleasure was all mine, your quality and business ethics were a breath of fresh air :)
That does remind me, I still need to post fully installed photos.. been so busy adding things to the jeep I've not had time to get it all washed and 'photogenic' (That 'spa day' for the JTR never happened...
Yep... expect to get more of these as your vehicles age. Eventually, you'll start getting the random mailers from companies NOT Mopar.
That said, if you'd bought a mopar warranty, and NOT the dealer ones (which are usually different companies) then you won't get the mopar calls from 'John Fox'...
Toss my vote in here, for a battery powered one.
I recommend EGO, over others... Why? because they have inverters and generators that run off the same battery, so may as well have multiple use toys while on the trail.
... and no.. I'd never used EGO, until this year, after seeing a bunch of...
Not sure what is different, to be honest. But here's a photo of my 21's channel.
That said, I can say, with all of the torrential downpours, here, I've not encountered the rain pouring on my leg... maybe it's due to the fact that the renegade was AWFUL with it, but I'll open my doors a few...
Sort of related fun fact..
The jeep renegade is actually wider than the jeep gladiator ;)
It was an observation I wondered about after upgrading from a renegade trailhawk to the JTR.. I felt like I actually had more room in my driveway, next to my wife's compass... Turn out they are actually...
One suggestion that others don't really mention:
(Hear me out on this)
Check with your employer. Some employers are now offering "legal insurance". (ARAG is one ime familiar with)
Basically how it works, is that you pay like $8-$15/mo to basically have an attorney at your beckoned call, and...
So far, not much I don't like...
The wipers not having the auto-sensing option is a little annoying to me, especially when you have to constantly flip them on and off due to microbursts... I know.. I know..1st world problem.
The driver's seat is extremely uncomfortable for me...got some seat...
So, I ordered a lightly used Trail Rail system from another forum member, here, and it arrived today.
Well, UPS (pronounced 'Oops' in this case) managed to damage the end caps on one of the rails. (guessing they dropped the box, since the end of the box was smashed in rather severely) Anyone...
One thing I WOULD ask, is if the cord around the edge is actual cord/rope/paracord.. or is it bungie cord?
if it's bungie, I'd recommend replacing it with something a bit more rigid, to help avoid extra shifting, if you plan on hauling anything larger than you currently are :)...
Find that I've been hauling more than I originally thought I'd be doing, and I've been using the D rings and ratchet straps, myself.
(Got a used Trail Rail system on order, however) :)

*Chuckling* Sure you can... just may not achieve the full goal you want, though ;)
.... not gonna lie.. now I'm curious how that would look. *grin*

I assume the Mojave and the Rubicon have similar rails...
These are the ones I installed:

And this thread has some photos from the assembly line/factory, from our trip a few weeks ago :)...
Yeah.. glad I took them into the dealership.. they showed me the amount of locktite on the front passenger bolt.. holy cow.. it was like the machine discharged enough for 50+ bolts on that thing. Even the tech said they see that more often that they should, here in the last couple of years...
