Now that's a ringing endorsement. If you don't mind could you share where you got the extra rings? Couple places are sold out already. Gonna be an expensive weekend between Metalcloak and wheels.
How well do the rings hold up to the abuse?. Also do you know if the deflators can be plugged if they should fail? I think that's my biggest worry is the deflators. I love the idea but if they are discontinued and can't get parts now what?
Yeah I looked at wheel pros too your right Nothing there looks as good to me. Might just run cheaper wheels without the rash ring and plan on having them refinished every couple years.
Honestly spend some time reading through the forums including the Wrangler forum before doing a lift. I'm no expert but I think if your going over two inches your going to want longer and or adjustable control arms.
I'm this close to squeezing the trigger on a set of the Teraflex Nomad split spoke wheels but I'm hearing they are discontinued. there are some out there but I'm afraid there might be a reason they are discontinuing these. Have there been any problems with these? The deflators look pretty...
Not sure when your lease is up but you could maybe see what you can get if you were to sell it. If it doesn't sell strip the lift and other accessories before you turn it in. Also if you buy it out will you pay cash? Financing a used car right now is pretty expensive as far as interest rates go.
Where are yall finding the tire weights? I'd like to be able to compare by weight also acctual diameter as most 37s aren't actually 37 inches tall nor are 35s 35 inches. Kinda like some new math or something.
If your a first time buyer on their site your eligible for 20 percent off with sign up. Ended up buying lowcut goretex version too even though it doesn't say Jeep.
Wish I was closer id grab these. Used to live in Ventura actually. Year round perfect weather and absolutely beautiful place to live. Miss it every day.
What shocks did you end up going with? Right now I'm leaning towards Metalcloak 3.5 with rocks port shocks but also looking at the Rock krawler and Clayton. Metalcloak seems the best fit for my application but am waiting for black Friday cyber Monday before I do anything.
Actually the way the stem broke we couldnt do a trail replacement the stem was broken in half but we couldn't get it out to put a different stem in. Probably a onece in a lifetime fluke but since I'm putting bigger tires and wheels anyway I might as well get the extra protection. I really like...
I'm liking those Teraflex wheels a lot but yeah pricey. I like that they're easy to clean to. I can see some of the fancy rims just being packed with mud and dirt would be a pain to take care of.
Thanks
Well I've finally started to build my gladiator for off road I need some advice on wheels. No not about backspace or offset I'm looking for non beadlock wheels with functional and removable rock rash rings. I'm not sure qhat they're called but that's the function so that's what I call them. Also...
