It's cool getting to connect and wheel with folks on here. I finally got to meet up with @drewcnit a few weeks back and we hit some trails down in Alabama. He has an awesome rig for sure!!
Thanks!! Definitely is a loud color especially in stock form. Ive toned it down alot with the black stuff ive added. PA is on my list for next year. I'm working towards getting all I can within 500 miles of middle TN. Easy weekend trips.
Thanks. Planning sometime mid October work schedule permitting. Never been to Uwharrie but I've wheeled in NC a few times. We love it over there!! Beautiful state.
As the title says. I've been building these up over the last year and a half. Going for the next one in October at Uwharrie in NC. Some of these were definitely hard earned. But so much fun doing it.
@GIOI24 Depending on how long this back and forth drags out and/or your patience level, perhaps you should consider going into the sales managers office and requesting a refund on the remaining portion of the useless diamond turd warranty. Take your refund and buy a low mile take out T/C and...
Yup, same here. My only rub is that the halos do not function as drl's without turning on the running lights. But the clarity of light projection and the crisp cutoff line is the real thing.
Have you considered buying some black powder coated piano hinge and rivet them in place of the rubber strips? Might be an alternative if you like the cover otherwise.
I'll probably get beat up for sharing this but that's OK. I have both short and long versions of this bumper and have been very satisfied with both. The fit and finish has been impeccable for the 2 years I've owned them. Seriously, NO rust at all. Clean solid welds and the wrinkle finish hasn't...
Yeah, that's what I was tryin to say. Lol thanks for the clearer explanation. I didn't have the time to grab all the pics. But thats the reason the double Carden joint works. It splits all the elliptical movement in half and distributes the points of contact over 8 points instaed of 4. I...
A CV style joint has more points of contact which distributes the load across a larger contact area thus allowing for greater angular rotation. The CV's have hardened ball bearings that ride in radiused tracks. The balls naturally follow the tracks as the joint rotates through its angle if the...
Man that's quite a hike!! We just got back from Moab last Monday so it's likely we crossed paths. @ospreyfe55 instead of spending dollars repairing your oem shaft, You should at least check what it would cost to change the single Carden end of the Adam's to a double Carden? That may be the...
Man I've got a complete D44 that I removed from my Willys when I installed my Rubi axles. Problem is they're not the wide track. But then again, does that extra 1-1/2" really make that much difference? Probably not but my rcv axles wouldn't work with them so there's that. I've already got...
I guess ultimately I am disappointed as well. Especially considering the cost of these shafts. I am also surprised there is little to no mention of the vibration issues associated with aftermarket shafts from other customers. I'm not singling out Adam's because I don't believe it is defective...
Yeah unfortunately for me I am beginning to see this now. Oh well, this is certainly not the first time I've made a purchase of a product that has left me somewhat disappointed. Stronger? Well I really don't know but I can say for sure it's alot bigger and heavier.
