I have 150-175ish in bumper and winch as well. The bump stops that came with the Mopar kit are around 2" tall. I'm guessing but there's probably 4" space between the bump stops and pads on mine. If you jack up on the frame of your truck does the wheel immediately start lifting or does the...
@The Yeti It is hard to tell exactly what you have on your hands but it is clear something isn't done correctly. It's hard to diagnose from pics but it appears someone did some kind of spacer lift on the cheap but didn't complete the entire lift. The front coils look really compressed which...
One other thing to consider, of the 781,xxx affected vehicles, they're not ALL JT's. I realize the architectures are identical but if you split the recall per model the probability percentage for a JT is even lower. Pretty much a moot point but the original question was regarding the JT. I'm...
@abe57 @TheSolarWizard That first pic was from a couple years ago so i went over to the shop and got updated pictures and measurements. I am not at stock height. I have about 3.5" in the rear and on 37's so 5-6" over stock. The bed depth is 17" so the steps won't fit vertically with a tonneau...
Little Giant brand. Works great for me. I also use it alot when working under the hood. Very wide and stable. I think it's rated something like 350 lbs. Also, it folds up flat, maybe 3" thick.
Although he was out of the Bronco spectating and probably had the engine turned off. He didn't have enough time to react to the situation. As the post above said, they should have not been that close at the bottom of the gate. I always stay way back until the vehicle in front of me had cleared...
Here's the ones I use. It's a 2-1/2 lb. extinguisher.

I have them on my JT. Best off road tires I've had yet. They are good at everything I've thrown at them from rock crawling in Moab to the slick changing terrain of TN. They are awesome in mud. The road noise is negligible to me. I actually think they're pretty tame for a MT. But I have a rag top...
There are probably other companies but you might be referring to Distinction Applied. My wife's JT is gator colored so she has it all gator themed. This is the color matched interior trim pieces we got from Distinction Applied. Top quality work for sure. It's kind of hard to tell with the...
I also finally got around to adjusting my pinion angle over the weekend. I took my UCA's out 3 turns which moved the pinion 4 degrees. The pinion and drive shaft are now at zero alignment at rest. I was getting a vibration @70 mph. That is now gone. After installing the Adam's shafts, I was...
I think you'll be absolutely fine. The brake lock differential really works pretty good when it's needed. But for the most part you'll have all 4 wheels on the ground out there. What a great trip, have a great time.
Ouch!! Man that hurt!! I also got some body damage last weekend while wheeling in the Cumberland Gap area of KY. I didn't even know it until yesterday when I sprayed the mud off from the weekend. Stuff like this is gonna happen some times.
Wheeling with some folks today and one of the wranglers had a set of Pats. He took a tree root to the side wall and ripped it from the wheel to the tread. I couldn't believe the cut in that sidewall. But I guess it could happen to any brand if the conditions are right. Seriously though, a 6-7"...
Yeah I agree. Some of them would be extremely difficult for a stock rig. I can't remember where I read that. But if it's on the internet it HAS to be true. 🤣
Stoney is about 2 hours from me. We've been there a few times when it's been bone dry and pouring rain. It's a great park with some challenging trails. I can't believe gut buster is still a BOH trail since it's impassable without winching up. Most bouncers can't make it up let alone a stock...
I will definitely be in touch about some PA routes. Nothing planned yet but I would like to get up that way. Next weekend I'm already booked up. We might be able to swing one of the days in September though. I'll let you know.
