A new bumper will make it feel heavier, but it's going to get even worse when you add the winch. I noticed a big difference in weight when I added the winch. I also installed a set of 3/4" coil spacers up front to help compensate for the added weight and eventual sag. Also, if you add a winch...
I have one on mine with a 2" Mopar lift. It was simple to install (especially with two people), it's thicker and more robust and it brought my front axle back under center as it was 1" off to the driver's side. That being said, it didn't fix any pulling to the right issues that I have.
Since we're actually getting responses, I will find us a place to meet up beforehand so we can ride in together if everyone wants to do that (I know I do). I can make a Group on the GroupMe app so everyone can communicate.
DEFINITIVE ANSWER - YES TO ALL YOUR QUESTIONS!
It will fit, no issues on stock Rubicon wheels and stock Rubicon suspension.
However, I am saying this in the nicest way possible since you're new here - a simple search in the search bar on the forums would have given you the answer you needed...
Be careful with that Houston Jeep People meetup. Apparently, the people that run/ran it have since moved on from Jeeps and the meetups are on an autoschedule now whether they are happening or not. I went to the one at Bombshells in Spring a few months ago and it was me and one other dude looking...
Just wanted to give plenty of heads up time that the next Java & Jeeps/Jeep 4 Wheel Adventures Houston Meet & Greet will be October 26th at 9:30 a.m. at the Paper Co. Cafe in downtown. I attended this a few weekends ago and it was probably one of the nicest groups of Jeepers I've met. The Paper...
I have the Mopar 2” lift and 37s. My driver’s side wheel was off by 1.5” after I installed the lift. The Mopar lift does not include an adjustable track bar and everything I read said it wouldn’t need one since it’s such a small amount of lift but when I installed the 37s, it’s essentially...
Don't know if this is what I did to my Gladiator today or with my Gladiator today since it's probably both LOL. I installed the new Smittybilt XRC Gen 3 winch and then took it down to the lake and pre-tensioned the synthetic winch line. It also gave me the chance to show the wife how to operate...
Not technically but the tint place knows an inspection place and...you get the idea.
I got it done at Executive Window Tint on I-10 and Gessner. They’ve done my last 4 vehicles and always do a good job and have the best tint and equipment available. PM me if you are interested and I’ll give...
Got close to coming in my house but ultimately it stopped raining and the water recedes quickly on my street. Took the Jeep into work tonight and had no issues since most of the roads I drive on are elevated.
Hand calculated since day 1. First few weeks were without lift and tires. Everything after that has been with 2" Mopar lift, 37" Ridge Grapplers and Tazer JL Mini.
I agree with posters above that say driving style has a lot to do with it. I drive my Jeep pretty conservatively because I...
And this is exactly why I got the windshield replacement windshield for 5 years insurance. I have a crack on mine but I'm holding out until it gets cooler outside since I have 70% 3M Crystalline tint on it and that runs about $250 just for the tint itself.
