It's the economy. Dealers are going to be dropping prices a lot more just to move inventory. High interest rates, high food prices, high gas prices. Most people just aren't buying new cars unless they have to.

Like I said my Pacifica has the same system and has been problem free for almost 50K miles, still on the factory batteries. Why so many problems from Jeep?

Lunentucker, I will do that tomorrow morning. When you recharge the aux battery do you reconnect it first, or put the charge + lead on the big battery red and the - charge lead on the disconnected black? Then reconnect the black lead after charging?

Removed both batteries from the Jeep. Left them overnight at a battery only dealer in town. They charged both batteries and then tested. They said the aux was "week and needed replaced". Bough a new one and a new charger. Went home and charged the new battery overnight before installing it...

I put clear packing tape over the headlight bucket. Worked great. When the snow was gone pulled it off. I like those clear covers though.

I don't think you should be changing the oil.

Mine does great in the snow and ice. I added about 300 lbs. of play sand from lowes to throw under the tires just in case but never needed it. Also lowered the tire pressure to 20 lbs. Just have to drive smart and keep up your momentum on inclines.

It also looks like it is the GATOR paint. That was a color only offered in 2020. I also got mine in 2020 a pre pandemic build. I have had only a few problems but hope I never have to get rid of it. I also have the extended warranty, something you should look into.
