My Jeep has been on the charger since last night. One final charge for the motorcycle battery in the fenderwel. Headed out now to pull the fuse and the negative cable to end the madness.

Look, my man, if you are still on the OEM main battery, you likely will still have issues. And if not now, in the near future. You're ignoring the likeliest of culprits. You already replaced the AUX with a fresh battery and have charged it up. Why aren't you looking at the main? What is supporting the AUX being the problem at this point? Why would removing a brand new, fully charged battery from your system make things better?

Chances are high both batteries were in need of replacement. There's also a chance you haven't been resetting the IBS if it's remained connected to the main when you charge the AUX.

If the main is on its way out, it doesn't matter how many times you charge it or for how long, it will still have problems. Disconnect the AUX if you must, but don't ignore the main battery.

I have seriously considered getting rid of the JT over silly unessary problems like this. That and poor dealer service.

This will probably ruffle a few feathers, but, What problems?? I haven’t heard of any problems. Well, maybe a couple?

Let’s start with - it’s rare, but it happens”

The auto start/stop never works?…

It’s a bad aux battery…..

No, it’s a bad main battery….

Nope, both are bad…….

You just need drive a minimum of 30min a day, every day and put a battery tender on every night! It’s just parasitic draw….

No wait, it’s loose fuses…..

Just buy a tazer and forget about it….

Cam phasers…..

Lifters……

Fuel pump…

Clutch…….

No , it’s the lower ball joint nuts. …

No the wire harness is outside the heat shield……

Maybe a ground is loose…….

The paint is bubbling!…..

DEF sensor……

Steering box?…. …

Steering stabilizer??…..

Locker sensor……

My personal favorite - which I would to tell myself to make myself feel better….”It doesn’t matter because if you look at other manufacturers forums you will find just as many issues”….

Might be 3 weeks before a dealership even looks at the warranty issue, and another 3+ weeks with multiple trips back to the dealership to fix it correctly. No big deal. Just deal with it…..your time means nothing.
