Just about to come back to me. My daughters have used it for the past 7 years. 3.5 medium Old Man Emu with 32’s and aftermarket IFS arms. 5.7L Jeep GC 2005 Limited
LMAO… Subaru’s are Libby huh… ? not only do I love them but so does my son-in-law’s brother. Maybe I should Ask him to fly over your driveway when he gets back… he is an Army CH-47 (Chinook) pilot, and a lover of Subaru’s. Real Libby kind-of-guy as you can tell… See last two pictures.

Ha, that’s a cake walk for the Max Tow… 4:10 gears, 37’s, 3.5” lift, HD steering control arms and drag link, plus 8 speed automatic, and then there is the modern traction control that I can not believe how well it works. In fact I was going to add ARB lockers but haven’t needed them, or sway bar...
I had the Rubicon Express 3” lift which rode very nicely with their base shocks with loads up to 200 lbs in the bed. Add a RCR full height rack, RTT, bikes and gear for an out west trip and I was very popular with the bulldog country boy crowd.
Towing was ludicrous, I was in the bump stops...
A harness and leash lock that plugs into seatbelt and some trail doors for you both as well. A side hit from another vehicle will hurt you and your dog. Trail doors (certain kinds and they are more expensive and worth it) are a minimum to keep you safe. If you have to have no doors, i know it...
Welcome to the JT club, you won’t regret it.
My dealer had installed ceramic coating (properly). I was never sure about ceramics but I have run through all kinds of stuff that previously would leave scratches, including dead cedar tree brush branches and not a single scratch. I am seriously...
Yes they are just awesome, now go take the top off of that Z-71 and … oh right, you can’t. Never mind, the z71 is just another mid sized boring truck and Chebbies are cheap for a reason… IMOP.of course.
You are not sagged to the bump stops on the rear springs are you? One other observation, if you did not buy this truck new yourself, previous owner could have had a lift on the JT with rear bump stop extensions. Dealer or PO could have removed lift and left extended bump stops on your JT. If so...
Odd for the Mojave to be worn out. Are they adjusts? Wondering as I have no idea. If not I believe they are rebuildable. I wasted stock shocks on my Max Tow, then found out quickly I was going to waste Rubicon Express shocks if i kept using them after 20,000+ miles. Using Falcon 3.3’s now and...
thanks! I love it and waited a couple of years to go with the Arcus. Light weight skin with heavy duty underbody for winch. I will add my Amber fogs when I have a moment. You can’t go wrong IMOP with the Arcus!
91,000 miles…!!!! Love driving it and it’s not my daily driver. Many long camping travels though. I put over 50,000 miles on it in 2022. She’s resting now and the Subaru Outback + non rainy nice days the GT Mustang gets to play! Miss driving the JT though on regular basis. At 150,000 miles she...
Well maybe they do now but when I bought mine in October 2019 they had bigger brakes than other models except the Rubicon.
point is just the wider axles, better cooling system, back up camera with zoom and 4:10 gear ratio are what the OP needs for towing 6000lbs. Op is asking about the overland...
sure the base tow package has that and a 5000 maximum when towing. OP wants to tow 6000lbs occasionally. The JT does much better with the bigger brakes, better cooling system, 8 speed automatic, wider axles and 4:10 gears. Only the Rubicon and Max Tow have these extra items and they make a big...
i know right? I spend 98% of my time driving my Sport S MT jumping down sandy washed out roads… just wishing I had a Mojave… with just one locker… ??? One locker? What’s up with that?
No, I’m just kidding 100% of the time my driving does not need the Mojave stuff I would replace anyway. I am...
