Rubicon, I have the Max tow and got it to use as a truck. I have dirt bikes and 4 wheelers to off-road hard with. The Rubicon has all the parts the Max Tow has, wider axles, more stable with heavy loads, lower gear ratio 4:10’s better towing and going larger tire size is not a problem up to a...
Blah blah blah, they work fine. I have 2” hubcentric wheel spacers on my 2020 Sport Max Tow (wider axles) with wrangler rubicon wheels and 37” BFG AT KOs. Over 50, 000 miles and never an issue with them. I put them on using lock-tite, and check them about every 10,000 miles. I’ve used similar 2”...
leaf spring front axle on those yotas, less chance of it happening. I had one and never had any hint of DW with it nor the OBS 4x4 Ford F350 also leaf sprung. I also put leaves under an MJ with front axle Dana 44 axle swap from a GW. Never an issue there even with 8”es of lift and 38x 14.50...
Loose trac-bar, I don’t care what dealer says. Check the bolt on the axle side of the trac-bar. Take bolt out, apply lock tight and tighten that thing down to spec or a bit above.
If it’s not trac-bar then lock at

- ball joints.
I had some pre- DW on my stock 2020 (purchased...

OP says “So adding a beefier springs and suspension is not the solution?”
MY 2 PENNIES: CHANGE YOUR ENTIRE LIFT SYSTEM!
The problem I ran into was my Rubicon Express 3.0” lift and base shocks were not up to the task of towing and also hauling my overland set up. They sagged like yours and...
this is an incorrect, statement., dropping the frame side of the CAs will fix the problem. You can’t adjust the angle of the control arms with adjustable control arms.
Two things you can do
1- long arm kit
2- drop CA front brackets
Honestly it’s a crap shoot when you lift over 2.5”es. Some...
It actually started in 1996 with a 1983 Scrambler that I built from stock 6” lifted micky Thompson fat tired full hard topped scrambler. As with everything I’ve previously created, a year after finishing the Scrambler ($5k in it) and winning best in show at a local Jeep dealership… I sold the...
The Venerable BFG AT KO… I’ve run plenty of tires.
- on a mostly designated off-road beast I’ll run SS TSL Bias. On the road to the trail the him sound is intoxicating. On the trail akin to my XR250Rs knobbies…
- though as most of us do a lot of road driving, my BFG AT KO 2 37x12.50x17’s “D “...
