Added 35x12.50/17 Nitto Exo Grapplers today. I agree that the Mojaves or Gladiators for that matter look great with 35’s. Really fills out the fenders nicely. .75” rear and 1” front going in this weekend. Rear airlift1000 added two days ago. Should eliminate any squat with the trailer...
Added some aluminum sheets to the drop down tables for durability and ease of cleaning. Turned out decent. Tried polishing the larger door table and it became a giant mess. Needless to say I need to sand the wood trim to get rid of the black stains. Lesson learned.
I have 3/4 rear and .5” front on mine. Sits perfect imho with bumper/winch up front. I only lost .25” with bumper/winch. I needed some rake because I haul/tow. 35” nitto exos go on next week
Couple small adds done over the last month. Renogy MPPT controller for the solar panel and it definitely pulls more on an overcast day. Larger group 27 80ah AGM battery, the 45ah wasnt cutting it and traction boards were mounted on the driver side. These are the Rhino Rack units that pretty much...
Well here is my story
2020 3.6
2021 3.0
And now 2022 3.6.
So yes yes and yes when it comes to the diesel. Great torque, great mpg and slightly more range per tank (about 50km for me) but remember the diesel tank is about 10L less. Def isnt a big deal, its about $20-30 (canadian) every...
Stock is 3”, mopar is 3.75” if my memory serves me right. I had one on my 2020 3.6. I wouldn’t put a cone on it, no heat shielding, defeats any benefits
Fits pretty darn good. It aint perfect but these are my second set on three Gladiators and zero issues. Brackets include rubber spacers and h13 adapters. Love them for the price. See attached
Added lower rock/work lights and upper camp area lights. Super simple install, wired directly to the battery so they can be used without having to turn the main trailer power on. Wired separately to upper and lower lights. Only draws 24 watts with all 8 on.
No issues there. The trailer dry is almost 1500lbs and the tent is only 170lbs and about 15-20lbs with awning. Loaded the trailer about 1700-1800lbs without water which adds 121lbs at the very bottom. It drives very smooth, no issues at highway speed.
After I found out how long my insurance was going to take and still wanting a pick up box, I backed out of the Wrangler deal. Happy I got another Gladiator, so much easier for camping and the mountain bikes.
