Makes perfect sense when you hate the look of a non-OEM switch and have used all your other aux switches on lighting, lockers and a compressor. They are bedights. Makes sense they can live on the bed light circuit.
To each their own of course and I am not criticizing, but I want less switches...
Couldn't you just put the aftermarket bed lights on the bed light circuit? It's 30amps isn't it. I know the bed lamps don't stay on if the vehicle is off but the Tazer can help with that a bunch of other light combinations. Otherwise, if the truck is on the lights stay? I only ask as I'm putting...
So, I did check and all four sensors are reading and after some travel psis changed so they appear to be working. For some stupid reason I still have an error light for TPMS. Any ideas on how to reset it or what it might mean. It flashes a few times at start-up then stays solid and lit.
Those aren't much wider than mine, did you see how painted my sides were with mud and that's with only 12.5 inch tires and -18 offset. Show me yours with some mud on it, it's too clean! Lol. I'd never have a single chip if I didn't tool around on muddy, snowy forest service roads all year round...
The Jeep Performance Part/Mopar Performance Rock rails are 4 inches wide and barely less wide than that and I can say for certain that they will not prevent impacts even being that wide if your offset puts you outside the wheel well in any way, your going to take a rock impact or two to that...
Honestly, I think it's just a bad luck thing. I haven't heard widespread reports of issues with the steering wheel stack/buttons. The mirror is a weak point, reported but I wouldn't say there's any indication it's even 10% or 5% or 1% of vehicles at this point. My mirrors have been abused...
Obviously before the rockblokz when I realized the performance rock rails were not cutting it. The paint pen worked great to touch up and re clear coat the hinges before I covered them.Admittedly I rushed the touch up and it was still fine.
I got mud flaps and touched them up. I did put and keep covers on them but I layered plastic dip on the covers and they are now textured matte black a great match for the door handles. The covers look fantastic plastidipped. The hinge covers look better than painted stock metal in my opinion...
This right here! Leave it on unless I'm stuck or am charging that last fifty feet of my driveway and want my momentum and wheelspin to get me up. It's a straight shot so I'm not worried about falling "offtrack" so no traction control. I learned a valuable lesson last year when my Outback killed...
on a 7.5 or 8 inch rim? I don't think that the bulge at normal operating pressures are that bad. I'd also like to point out that different tires hold/position that weight differently. At least with my 12.5 inch nokians, the contact patch at comparable PSIs is VERY different than the AT3Ws I run...
You're probably within a mile or two of me. Also in Issaquah and I spend a lot of the time fishing the Green River towards Ravenswood and Black Diamond. We got over 10 inches up on Squak mountain. Great fun with the gladiator.
Seems to me this could depend on if they have non-OEM part coverage that so many companies like to do for Jeep's. Both of mine offered to cover the non-OEM add-ons in an accident. If they aren't covering that aftermarket OEM steel bumper or didn't give you credit for the aftermarket additions...
agreed, should, but is not. Do you offhand (i haven't check yet, admittedly) if there is a way to check if it's just mad because a single sensor has dropped out? I'm guessing it's possible I grabbed one of the spare rims and that one of them might not have a sensor.
I'm not sure if the used Ford or what I expect was probably a used Tacoma waiting for me somewhere on that lot is worse. That's almost pathologic... 8-)
The steel OEM bumper is like that around here. I bought the chinese ebay knockoff (one of them at least) and it's rusting five ways sideways and is cheap metal. Most people here seem to think they are worth OEM costs even used. I'll wait and watch thank you. 8-)
Got some great great JK rims for my winter tires. Scanned with TPMSs at Discount Tire but JT won't detect them. I believe my truck is pre tpms update this summer so thoughts? Do you get a light if one has dropped out? I'm assuming there's a screen you can check each individually?
