It's a shame they decided to do a one-size-fits-all for these. I like the idea but it's such a waste of space and the aesthetics are absolutely garbage because of it. And yes, we DO care about aesthetics, even my rotopax are color-coordinated, LOL.
Have two rubi tow hooks, got a steel rear bumper aftermarket and don't want the red tow hooks. Looking for a stock black/matte OEM tow hook for Sport or Willys to make a pair with the one from my Willys.
Really, you can't find it? Try Napa but both of my toolsets (both from Husky) had them in the kit. I also bought one awhile back from O'reilly's for the drain plug on my rear diff, I know that Napa carries them too.
I totally second this! The first door took me about an hour and less than 30 minutes for the passenger side. Well worth both the money and the time invested. It was an easy mod just don't be afraid to pop the pins out with some gusto and the only thing that sucked was getting the door latch...
I'm so jealous that yours fit easily. I had one pedal that would not line up with the skinny horizontal alignment screws that fit into the left and right sides of the pedal. I ended up having to remove all of the screws and bolts of the rock rail completely and use a car jack to help pop things...
Can your send me the link or ratings for your diode? I'm planning on adding the lower lights and would like to also manually trigger them and two cubes on my bedrack.
I'm sure it's possible to mod a hide a step to fit but I feel like it'll entail adding more steel and I had a horrible time getting them to install due to alignment issues with the rail and the steps. They are spring loaded and with the alignment issues I had I am not so sure I would ever...
It wasn't terrible. There is a long slot that is identically shaped between the two types of rails. First, I popped out the original cut out which is actually a little higher than the performance rails lie. Then I took a piece of cardboard, traced the profile of the rail installed (might have...
Thanks! I was sad to have to lose the MORE hide-a-steps but the look of these rails is so perfectly OEM. They made a big difference for rock impacts in my case.
It's f'ing hilarious you say that because I thought the same thing the first time I heard it. My first thought was also at least it's not three clunks and second, I hope another bolt or nut didn't fall off. I think my dealership is loosening bolts just to screw with me at this point.
When braking at low speeds I get a moderate clunk right exactly when I push the pedal and about a half second after I let off the pedal. It might happen at all speeds but hard to tell since it's not very loud. I think the clunk is from the right front passenger side and I can't tell if it's from...
I step over my wide rock rails, the wife and my toddler climb up them. Prior to the new rails, I used the MORE hide-a-steps which worked perfect from a height perspective and required very little ducking down with a 2 inch lift and 35s.
I should note I'm barely 5'9" so it's more of a throw a...
Finished installing my Rockblokz mud flaps. They grey isn't a 1000% perfect match but looks better than the black would have. Cutting them to fit the wider and shorter performance rock rails was a fun lesson in trial and error.
I'll have to check, it wasn't much more than a month ago that I updated the firmware on it right around the time I did the re-gear. Do you know the release date by any chance? (I will go look a little later when I have time, so my question is just pure laziness).
I'd say running the AT3Ws at 40 psi is only right for the stock tires, definitely far from right for a 35x12.5 a/t. They did right for a stock Jeep running stock tires. I assumed narrower but the 18 inch comment about higher tires confused me.
Hard packed snow, yes, narrower is better but in...
