Solved! Similar situation here. I have 8, 4, and 2 in the back of the JT. The combo is 2 diono radians and of all things, a walmart booster:

The Cosco booster is narrower (actual kid size) at the rear, and the armrests come up and leave plenty of...
In all turning situations, braking or not braking, you will have more understeer than oem, which means you'll lose front end grip sooner, and your jeep will be sliding straight into what you're trying not to hit
The oem rear bar is not very stiff, but it's something. Probably does not limit...
Since you're talking about front suspension compression, just for fun, given the rear overhang beyond the rear axle is about 51" and from the rear axle to the front bumper is about 167", and assuming your front bumper and skid is about 75 lb, the winch is about 75 lb, and ignoring the weight of...
The pull to the right may be a thing, and mine does it when the lane is sloped down to the right naturally for the road to shed water (which is almost everywhere). Where the lane levels out, mine doesn't pull at all. Then if the lane slopes to the left for some reason (sometimes they'll slope...
Well, out with the mishimoto, in with the upr!
Also ordered the teraflex CVS and will connect to the upr (they're installed literally right next to each other) but awaiting delivery on that. I'll see how the upr compares to the mishimoto for a few hundred miles before teraflex cvs installation...
I'm running 0w-20 again now, but had no problems running 5w-30 for a bit. I keep thinking about going back to 5w-30 because i want the jeep to go over 200k miles. 0w-20 is like water. 5w-30 is still plenty thin imo.
You guys think 5w-30 would extend engine life?
Adding more weight just to "counterbalance" front end weight isn't going to improve driving, handling, off road, anything for your mojave. Weight is the ruiner of all things
Manage the front end weight with suspension adjustments. And just add whatever accessories you want independent of...
I run a hellwig rear bar set on the first hole (stiffest) and love it for the street. With the oem bar, the jeep felt "front heavy" in normal turns. The hellwig bar on the center hole was an improvement, but the first hole "feels" completely neutral and the handling feel is fantastic.
Warning...
Not a 4h or 4l response, but general wheeling: driver mod is by far the best mod. Nothing wrong with buying a rubicon right out of the gate, but resist the urge to use your lockers. You'll learn WAY more by struggling on an obstacle with open diffs and finally figuring it out and getting over...
For you guys running the UPR can, do you still like it? Is much getting by it on the clean side at the intake manifold? Thinking about removing my mishimoto and installing a UPR
Update: so while LSPI knock was reduced, it wasn't eliminated completely, and the 5w-30 viscosity oil was still blowing through the mishimoto to some degree. So today i drained the 5w-30 and went back to 0w-20. I'm not going to run a different viscosity oil unless the knock was completely gone...
Thanks for the clarification. So cold air is better than hot air - it's just that the oem intake is already a cold air intake, so an "aftermarket" intake doesn't make as much of a difference :like:
