  1. Complaining aside, what would be a dealbreaker?

Diesel option Price comparable Off-road ability Rear leg room All only compared to existing options...not the wish list in my head....
  2. JT spotted with new interior

Bed is about 1.6 m or 63" (5.2ft)....so only a little salty croc in the back....could still fit a big enough coiled up taipan to give you a fright though
  3. JT spotted with new interior

Here's my Aussie assumptions and really rough checks. Almost stacks up 1 for 1 against the AEV for physical specs
  4. JT spotted with new interior

So I've crunched some rough numbers on approach, departure etc based on 137" wheel base. From camo profile. In that form it's around 55 deg approach and 27.8 dep departure. I'll add assumptions to comparison table in the morning. Stock ramp over is ordinary.
  5. 2018 JLU shows production design. What would you like shared with the JT?

I also loosely supported it based on the AEV brute being 139" and 216"....figured they would be ballpark
  6. 2018 JLU shows production design. What would you like shared with the JT?

I agree, I just based my calc on the strut centre locations on the chassis cad and "known" other dimensions. So if the overall is not 205 then my 137 guestimate is also wrong. I agree 100% on the dpearture angle and I am seriously hoping we are incorrect.
  7. 2018 JLU shows production design. What would you like shared with the JT?

I'm getting a little lost, or maybe my calcs are way out. But if the frame is 205" then that puts the wheel base around 137"
  8. JT testing on the RUBICON

I've gotta say those images are disheartening...especially the tub and rear overhang/departure. That "appears" terrible, I would go so far to say if it came to market like that in Aust, it would probably rank worst in class for that spec....which would go 100% against the market they would be...
  9. Jeep Gladiator Pickup Truck (JT) Spy Pics and Videos!

that tub and overhang can not possibly be right based on Jeeps "off-road" heritage. That would survive zero track time over here
  10. Spied: JT Jeep Gladiator Pickup tailgate comes into better view

Hard without specs yet, but trying to compare against current Aust offerings of hilux, ranger and colarado. To crack the market with 4x4 as it's distinct advantage, this will really be one of the considerations. Approach, ramp over and departure.
  11. Spied: JT Jeep Gladiator Pickup tailgate comes into better view

Is anyone else concerned at the departure angle from rear axle to tray? It looks ordinary currently and prone to hangup or damage on the tracks
