Thank you for the ideas and replies. Before work I deleted the auxiliary battery and put the main battery on the charger. I will check the coolant temp wire and try it again. My Jscan shows no codes.

I tried starting the truck again today and I can hear the fuel pump run but the starter doesn't engage and the dash shows "engine too cold to start" and "pre heat in progress."
