I just finished my EOC stage 2 upgrade. I followed the video by Wolfoverland on YouTube. I did not disconnect any wires that were not covered in the video. The engine would start and run for about 2 seconds and then die. The dash showed "start/stop not available."
I either drained my battery by having the hood open for a couple of days. Or disconnected something that wasn't supposed to be. Or something may be wrong with my tune.
I only had about a half hour to mess with it before work today. I have not ran any codes with my Jscan. I currently have my battery on a charger and will try again in the morning after work.
Does anyone have ideas on what i could have done wrong?

Sad to say you are going to have to send the ECU back, this happened to the second ECU I received, the first one had the security light on even though I sent the original in. Message EOC and ask them about it.

Thanks for the info. I sent them an email and they wanted me to check a couple of disconnected wires and charge the battery first.

I tried starting the truck again today and I can hear the fuel pump run but the starter doesn't engage and the dash shows "engine too cold to start" and "pre heat in progress."

Just a thought, check your coolant temperature sensor and connector. If the connector isn't fully seated or the wiring is damaged, it may cause a false full cold signal to the PCM. The sensor is screwed into the front of the engine under the thermostat housing.

If you have a scanner or similar tool that allows live data to be shown, you could pull that up to see what temperature and other parameters the PCM is seeing.

Thank you for the ideas and replies. Before work I deleted the auxiliary battery and put the main battery on the charger. I will check the coolant temp wire and try it again. My Jscan shows no codes.

Verify the replacement computer has the right VIN with your jscan

That's a great idea. Thank you. I had rechecked everything that I disconnected and made sure my battery was good, which didn't help. Then I swapped my original ECU back into truck a d it started right away and stayed running this time. I have to ship my ECU back to EOC to get it checked and hopefully fixed.

Real pain in the ass if it's a VIN typo. Keep up updated.

I finally received my ecu today. EOC said it was blank when they checked into the situation. Nobody knows why. This is the same ecu that I had cloned and then had EOC add the stage 1 tune. Somehow during the stage 2 upgrade, it became a blank ecu.
EOC was very pleasant to work with and they even paid for rush shipping to return the ecu to me.
The gladiator now runs perfect and im so happy to be driving it again. It really is unlike any other vehicle I've ever had.
Thanks for the input and advice from everyone.

Glad to hear you got it worked out. Some people say EOC is hard to deal with but that was not my experience with them.
