More great ideas and things to try. I do think it's updated within the last few days. I did all the unpair/forget/delete several times on both devices, same result. Would removing the fuse for 10 minutes work the same as disconnecting the batteries as far as Uconnect is concerned?
There's some stuff about this over on the wrangler forum that says the dealer ended up updating or flashing the uconnect. It's just strange it starts doing this all of a sudden.
Yeah I did the soft reset thing a while ago. It did soft reset and turned off. Unit went dark, rebooted and phantom called me again as soon as the Bluetooth reconnected.
Yeah it's strange. It is definitely connected to the phone but not actually placing a call. The phone is not making a call but on the uconnect screen the green phone is on the screen and the timer is counting up as if there is a live call in progress. All the music is muted until I end the call...
Tennessee Dirt Devil route. Basically a drive on public roads through alot of private property. Beautiful scenery though. The good folks behind me sent me this video.
The soft reset part did work, however the auto calling myself is still happening. Maybe I should try to answer and have a conversation with me. Maybe Big Willy just wants to talk! Lol
The above 1st recommendation didn't work. The fuse is my next step. Beyond that will be a dreaded dealer visit so they can tell me my lift kit and 35's are causing the issue and therefore can not honor the warranty. Do you know the fuse number right off?
So 3 days ago my U-Connect starts dialing my own phone EVERY time I start the truck. The phone doesn't even show an active call but the U-Connect screen sure does. And it has everything muted as normal when a call is in process. I hit the end call button on the steering wheel or screen and all...
So to add to my Rubicon 5.13 axle swap project, I was given the great and correct advise to upgrade my steering linkage components. So I ordered Rock Jock Currectlync components and they were waiting on me when I got home. Eye candy, enjoy.
I have an Overland and a Willys. I've lifted and upgraded both for more capable off roading. The Overland is my wife's, the Willys is mine. I absolutely love my Willys but the one regret Ive ever had was its not a Rubicon. If you want the Rubicon and don't get it you will wish you had. I'm...
