They wont touch mounting them but they'll warranty the tires, balance, and rotate. Interested to hear what your thoughts on 40s are. I take the JT cross country and like the 38s but am building with the ability to go up to 40s. Just not sure I want that large of a tire on a DD.
Doesn't look right. It should be set level and then the adjusters thread in. I can't really tell whats going on with yours, but I have the same bar and it does not look like that.
I mounted 38s on beadlocks and had discount balance them down in Rochester with no issues. Maybe they wouldnt be able to do 40s... I've worked with Zeus Offroad before and they do a good job.
That was my first JT, sold it two years ago. The two years I had it, it never showed any signs of rust. There was not a cut out for a light bar, but that doesn't mean you couldn't get creative.
This topic has been brought up ad nauseam. You can get by with stock 4.10s and many do, but a regear will be beneficial. Many factors play a role such as type of driving/offroading, weight of set up, and type of terrain you live in to name a few. Do a google search/search on this forum. There's...
I've run LOD and AEV. Both are solid choices but I thinm the AEV does an excellent job of being a "factory plus" look. It is expensive and a bit complicated to install, but IMO, its the best looking/functioning bumper out there. Its a stubby with hoop w/ front camera mount, recessed winch, fog...
Yes, i went with 5.38s. I think 5.13s would work well too but since I tow a trailer through mountains on most of my trips I went a bit more aggressive. I wouldn't go any less gear than 5.13s though.

My front end looks very similar, RCVs, Reids, Dynatrac BJs, Rockjock steering, beadlocks and 38s...
Right now I'm running the Apex steering boost kit. It is doing OK, but not really meeting demand on full trail days aired down. Can you link the exact kit you are using from PSC? They have a...
I would've gone with MT Baja Boss AT but they werent offering it in a 38. I ended up going with the Falken Wildpeak RT/01 38x13.5. Its a hybrid and I've been really happy with it. It's slightly louder than an AT on the highway but not MT loud. I've been impressed with it aired down too. For...
If I remember correctly, the middle. I swapped over to AEV brackets and now I have an entirely different JT that will be running a long arm front triangulated 4 link rear.
I like how clean the coil retainer solution is. So if you are not bottoming out your shock then the coil retainer and coil is now essentially holding the diff at full droop. Hopefully the hardware is up to the task.
I spoke to a rock krawler tech when ordering the 3" silverback system as i have a 3/4" spacer on now and this was his response:
Our drop bracket is not required until 4.5" of lift. A smaller drop bracket can be beneficial for 3" kits. Our drop is too much for the 3". Our drop is 2 3/16 inch...
Clayton is in a little different category as their long arm upgrade kit is a radius arm long arm kit. If you have a clayton kit already you can reuse the front upper control arms, they are relocated to a bracket on the extended lower control arm. I don't know a lot about radius arm kits but I...
Rock Krawler makes a front long arm/triangulated 4-link mid arm kit:

I'm planning on trying this kit. haven't seen much about it, but everyone seems to be pretty positive about their triangulated 4-link.
