@Radio Guy is the expert, but I had much better luck moving the antenna one bolt forward on the cowl, nearer to the hood. I am using GMRS, but I think the basic idea is the same: get it a little more "open" and with a mildly better ground plane. The cowl is plastic so it does nothing for...
This was SOOOO fun to watch! Wish I lived closer to all the fun out west ?
One question (favor?): what is your measurement from the ground to the bottom of your rock rails (or diffs, or whatever you've already measured)? Trying gauge against my setup. Thanks!
I have one similar that came with the MOPAR lift kit. I assume that's where this one came from, too. I have one updated for 2020, but the torque specs are the same. These are also in the FSM, but that's $$$ for a TechAuthority subscription.
And the ones in the MOPAR kit are 2.5's... but also not the same as buying the 2.5 direct from Fox (not adjustable). But, also better than the stock Rubicon and VERY stable at hwy speeds.
I'll second the Smitty... better CFM than the ARB at less than 1/2 the price. I don't know why this isn't more popular for aftermarket kits, other than the size? The chuck is a Japanese (I think) standard for some reason, but there are a handful of YT videos on how to easily modify it for...
This might sound like a strange question, but is your phone still paired with Uconnect? I've had a few times randomly my phone doesn't show it's paired with (or even remembers) Uconnect and the radio doesn't show it in the list, either. Not sure which one is the culprit, but when that happens...
On my rubicon I was sitting at 17.25" at the front rock rail and 18.25" at the back (due to the rake)
After adding 37's I was at 18.75" and 19.75" (KO2's run small....)
Then added the MOPAR lift and 1.5" teraflex spacer in the front (to get rid of the rake + adding a winch): I now sit at...
They make a 6-speed, but the ratios are so close it just seemed silly
Tremec 5-speed:

Tremec 6-speed
2.97

I liked that 5th gear on the TR5 was between 5th and 6th on the TR6060. And the 0.5 OD on the six speed I don't...
The current order guide from March shows nothing about GG being required on any combination of builds... but FCA can change things when they want!
Maybe they have a surplus of GG and need to get rid of them?
I run 37x12.5's on stock Rubicon wheels, which are also 7.5".... one of the forum members here has run these for a long time, with trail pressure in the 10-12 psi range and has not lost a bead (and he wheels, not just a mall-crawler)
I do have a lift, just speaking of the rim size vs what tire...
... and in looking it over, I believe your dealer is wrong
DEM is the code for the 6 speed manual. The area I have circled is the code for the Sport S cold weather package (ADE) meaning is is available:
Are you by any chance also configuring the Gloss Black Aluminum wheels? It looks like...
Also, the latest order guide is here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/attachments/gladiator-3-1-22-pdf.226459/?hash=f761650fb0ee18a00b1808c5db93b9de
This is the definitive source for what can/can't be built (updated monthly by FCA)
I've thought long and hard about swapping the transmission for a Tremec 5 speed. The bell housing and input/output shafts may need to be modified, I haven't done the hard research to know.
But, my reason is for adding forced induction, not for my current setup. The Asin is only rated for...
Agree on reverse... on a flat space (like backing out of a parking spot) I can feather the clutch with no skinny pedal and not stall.
I can even pull forward out of a parking spot with no skinny pedal input and not stall.
37's with Rubicon (4.10)...
I will regear to 4.88 or 5.13 next year...
