  1. 17 inch vs 18 inch wheels

I think last time I looked, similar tires for 18" rims vs 17" were more expensive, especially for AT/MT tires. I think since a7" are more popular there is a cost of manufacturing reduction since they sell more. I have no scientific data to back this up, just been my experience.

Yeah, mine was centered. Glad you figured it out!
  7. New Apex 12K Harbor Freight winch Install

Yes, somewhere up "earlier" in the thread... you use the original long red wire from the winch and the 2 black wires from the inverter kit (one of them will act as your yellow wire). The "short" red wire from the original winch will go from the battery to the solenoid. If that doesn't make...

  10. Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit with Mopar lift kit?

Still like it! I have not been able to do any wheeling yet because of family schedules, but we will in April. The teraflex kit comes in 2 pieces: a 1" puck and a 1/2" puck. You could always start with just the 1" and see how you like it, or visa-versa. I added a winch and dropped about 1/2"...

Hey! Just to confirm, you're still cowl-mounted, but used the bolt closer to the hood and farther from the A-pillar?
  12. Stupid question for a stupid mistake

You can also go here (this is for the front): https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/parts-list/2021-jeep-gladiator/front_suspension/suspension_front_springs_shocks_control_arms.html #5 in the diagram is the oem bolt (M12x1.5)
  13. Stupid question for a stupid mistake

The bolts should have a designation on the end like 8.8, 5.8, etc. This is the "hardness" (sort of) of the bolt. If you know that and the size/pitch, like M12x1.75 then you can replace them from almost anywhere. Good reference here: https://www.firstcallautosupply.com/bolt-identification-guide/
  14. Making Center Console USB Switched

  15. Making Center Console USB Switched

Almost forgot: when you have the AA adapter switched with ACC, how long does it take to boot up and get AA on-screen?
  16. Making Center Console USB Switched

Thanks, @sharpsicle! Honestly, I thought the center console was ACC switched and never even looked in there to notice the AA adapter was always on. This makes perfect sense why my Android phone's battery was depleting faster than normal: because it's constantly searching for AA and it's just...
  17. Jack points front and rear

Those have got to be wrong... This is from the MOPAR kit:
