I have a Willys diesel, and with the cruise on going down the interstate, it will go to 7th on larger hills, (hills, not mtn passes), and Im on stock tires for the moment. So that no searching for gears with 37s is crap....it will go down a gear to keep speed up. And I usually set the cruise...
Did you ever get the belt work completed. Im interested as Im getting a weird acceleration noise that Im thinking is either the tensioner/pulley or the idler pulley. I wanted to know how you went about it. Looks like there is a lower cover to remove, and Im not sure how to remove the upper left...
I looked around, who is makon a catch for the Gladiators? I have one on all my other vehicles. I want it to look like it was factory installed. Ive looked at where i could cut the molded line going to the intake, route to a can, then tie back in but make it a clean install Not all cobbled up
Just hit 8700 & change, i did a decent break in. Back roads thru the mtns for several 100 miles, then several trips of 700 miles on the interstate w varying speeds...oil consumption stopped around 2000 or so. Fairly sure the rings are sested. I keep oil at full on dipstick, doesnt smoke or...
They pulled the cab to replace exhaust manifold? i have a strange noise on the left side i can hear at lower speeds, sounds almost like a belt or idler, but could be exhaust. What kind if noise did you get

You can see the last threads on those bolts right at the end of the threaded collar. Mine are the same on a '22 Willys diesel, so no longer bolts needed. Fully threaded past the attachment collar
Your naming most of my "go-to's"....Im working near Augusta, from Tn Smoky Mtn area...diesel Gladiator, love me some bourbon. I live a mere couple of hrs to get to the Kentucky bourbon country
"22 Willys diesel.....just ordered the Mopar factory bed receptacle (120v) and starting to gather the other parts to make it viable. Im looking at a 1500-2000W inverter, and a place to put it, plus where to potentially mount a battery box/frame under the vehicle to supply power to it. Couple of...
My Willys has the diesel, and a lot of us take the cover off to help disappate some heat around the top of the engine. I took mine off the first day and it sits in the garage. If you really want one (gas or diesel) I bet someone on here will sell ya one. And I dont see where it was NOT sent on a...
Not sure about hurting ourselves but my '22 Willys has 1.5 Teraflex w nothing on rear. Used the longer LCAs from Mopar w it. I have a winch bumper w 12k winch in it and its reasonably level w maybe a half inch down in the front. 33.5's on it looks good
