Just a note about Gladiator's and the Rubicon Trail - Yes, they can run the Rubicon Trail straight off the dealer's lot. How do y'all think they got the Trail Rated badge? Driver skill is the key. Either you have it or you don't.
To the OP: If you want a Gladiator, and it sounds like you do...
Top of the whaleback descent - This person decided they didn't want to go the route me and others took, which was directly over the big rock in front of his Jeep. There's a big drop from the top of the rock to the dirt below that you can't see in the pictures. He went to the left to avoid it...
Had a blast! I learned something about my Willys that I didn't know and wasn't "advertised" - it has rear auto lockers. For those that want to argue, that info came from one of the Jeep Corporate guys and also from the trail guide. I also learned how to use hill descent (aka duck mode) in 4LO -...

I have that thru Geico and love it. Haven't had to use it and hope I never do, but it's a good feeling knowing I won't have to fork out $$$$ if something goes wrong. 81k+ miles so far
I've replaced 3 windshields and will be replacing another by the end of this month before I head to Coal Mountain for some fun. (Huge crack going horizontally from the passenger side.) If you own a Wrangler or Gladiator, get used to it! The angle of the windshield is steeper than other vehicles...
Damn is right!
Like many out here, I spent most of Tuesday in shock over what happened. I'm usually up and out the door around 1:30 - 2am. It just so happens that my brickmason sub has avoided me the past few weeks on a project I have in DC. He called me yesterday morning to let me know he had...
The worker that was hospitalized was released yesterday.
I live near the Key bridge and have driven on it more than 1000 times. If I have job sites in DC or Virginia, 9 times out of 10 I was crossing that bridge.
