Y'all forgot about these types of dunes: Fort Pickens, FL Close to where I grew up.
  2. I feel like I am driving history, a story.

My granduncle fought in WW2 and when he got out of the service, bought one of the Jeeps his unit used. My mom told me she learned how to drive with it.
  3. Coming up on 2 years of ownership, still catch myself smiling like a goon at it from time to time.

It's a Jeep thing! Two+ yrs and 80k+ miles. Still loving it as much as the day I bought it.
  4. Is 58 degrees warm enough to install softtop?

After you take it off and put it back on a couple times, it gets easier.
  5. Is 58 degrees warm enough to install softtop?

  6. We are trying to make the most user-friendly JT tube door…(EP.01 Exceed Fabrication)

  7. Anybody else using a wireless portable compressor?

I have a Dewalt inflator. It's small, lightweight, and does what I need. Runs off a Dewalt battery or you can power it with your Jeep...
  8. Mopar extended warranty purchase. The good, the bad and the insane!

The difference with what I have thru Geico is that there's no mileage cutoff and no limit to the number of years the policy lasts. As long as I keep my Gladiator covered with Geico, I have the Mechanical Breakdown Insurance. For only $87 every 6 months, that's peace of mind for me AND it's...
  9. Mopar extended warranty purchase. The good, the bad and the insane!

I almost bought an extended warranty but decided against it after comparing the price of it to what I have with Geico. For those with Geico, Mechanical Breakdown Insurance will cover you as long as you own the vehicle and keep your policy with them.
  10. What's the competition got the Gladiator doesn't?

It's perfect the way it is to me. There are those that want to carry half their damn house with them everywhere they go though.
  11. What's the competition got the Gladiator doesn't?

The truck bed: the Gladiator loses in carrying volume. https://www.cars.com/articles/ranger-gladiator-ridgeline-canyon-which-has-the-best-bed-and-tailgate-409453/
  12. Looking for daily driver tire recommendations

I run BFG K02s and love them. They are all-terrain tires and are smooth on the road. Note that my Gladiator is my daily driver and it's typical that I drive 250+ miles more often than not each day. The original tires were KM2s.
  13. Stolen 2023 Mojave

Baltimore here as well. Sorry to hear this happened to you. Have you checked with neighbors to see if any of them have security cameras that may have caught the hoodlums on video? For theft deterrents, consider getting security cameras installed for the front and back areas where you live. I...
  14. Jeepers of Maryland

I'm hoping to do this one later this week. Took 2 weeks off from work and spent all of last week too damn sick to do anything.
  15. Jeep Academy Coal Mountains 2024

Any of you going to the Coal Mountians Jeep Academy this year? I just registered for May 16th. It's a Thursday, but I figure it won't be as crowded as Friday and Saturday would be.
  16. We are trying to make the most user-friendly JT tube door…

That view though ... I'd get out there and not want to go back to reality.
  17. We are trying to make the most user-friendly JT tube door…

I take it the storage bag would be part of the packaging. It's not a bad idea at all and would help keep dust and dirt from collecting while the doors are stored. For storage, some people buy racks meant for keeping doors upright and off the ground; others make their own version of the same...
  18. We are trying to make the most user-friendly JT tube door…

I like it! I've held off on buying tube doors so far because I just haven't found any that are aesthetically pleasing (welds are a big killer for many). Foam padding, like someone above suggested, would be a nice addition. Also, think about mesh netting as an accessory for the doors. That and...
  19. Hi, and what do I do about...

I have the soft top and have never had a problem with ice. I live in Baltimore, for reference.
