No disrespect, but… you supercharged a Jeep Gladiator. A build with no consistent tuning guidelines, no real standards, and you swapped the original engine and trans over “cam issues”.
I’m enthralled. What cam issue was it? Surely someone who owns snap-on tools must have a fantastic story about...
Ive been a car enthusiast for 25 years. I’m an ASE certified master technician, and the first thing I ever learned about cars? Don’t buy somebody else’s project.
The second thing? Dont trust anyone’s supercharger install.
There are so very many things you can do with a Wrangler or a Gladiator...
I installed a 1.5" teraflex level kit, Auxbeam 8 button electrical thingymabobber, RugCel "Tank" Winch, QRC Bumper, along with a Mopar Mesh Sunbonnet and added a Tow receiver hitch which you can't see. It was a busy weekend!
what Brand lights did you use? I’m stuck… I installed the Auxbeam 8 button switch, but I’m not sure how to convert the kid hilites I want into the 2 prong auxbeam switches. Is there an adapter?
The firewall access is on the drivers side- it is a few inches down from the windshield- there is a an approximately 2" round black plastic cap that covers the hole. I left the cap out of the firewall hole and used a scrap of corrugated wiring wrap to protect the (already protected) wiring. You...
Hello!
So... The install went great. I didn't take any pictures of the install, but here are a few memorable things, and ill over-explain in case anybody searches one day-
1) I have a base Sport. (obligatory "Its a manual) I immediately installed Oracle headlights with daytime running...
I’m new to electrical mods. I have a couple of KC lights I Want to install on my front bumper.
I have an 8 button Auxbeam switch I just installed. I am looking at the KC instructions prior to purchasing, and the wires out of the lights all end In closed metal loops. These won’t fit into the...
Let me know who you get to do it when you finally take the plunge. I’m doing a 2.5” leveling kit and a regear so I can get 35s on mine but I’m always looking to see what local places charge for the labor if I decide to go ahead and just do a complete lift.
I think you are right. The introduction of factory 35's is the most direct response to the "Sasquatch" edition, but the full float D44s are definitely geared towards having a clear leg up for the off road demographic. I'm not sure the Bronco has a way to compete with that.
After watching the project farm winch video, I decided that the Zeak would be a good winch for my Gladiator. Amazon is out with no back in stock date, and the Zeak website is hardly useful.
Does anyone know how to get one of these? Thanks!
The answer is that those selling the used models to dealerships over the past year or so have gotten a premium, because until recently demand was crazy for used vehicles. Gladiators are for better or worse a pretty niche vehicle, so higher trim levels aren't selling out immediately, and due to...
I had the same thing happen under my RC panels on an old Taco I used for work. It was the weirdest damn thing, and I never put 2+2 together that it may have been the panels. It was the only spot(s) the truck had any rust.
As far as the Jeep Cares situation, I think that it is really lousy...
Oh yeah. I broke out the zero turn last weekend for the first cut of the year. I’m cruising along on the mower, and my neighbor drove by in his white Rubicon… absolutely gave him a wave… he waved back. Hopefully he thought it was just a neighborly wave and not a Jeep wave.
late to this party… but the least expensive 2022 4 wheel drive truck with a crew cab that isn’t a maverick/santa cruz or a frontier is a Gladiator. The Gladiator does most of the Home Depot/Lowe’s trips a lot of people will require, and it’s a lot more fun to deal with than the Frontier- which...
I broke the piece on my Passenger front wiring harness that the frame clip affixes to. I used a 3m strip to affix it temporarily, but I am a little bummed out.
Im willing to pay the $40 to get a new harness if this is a quick -less than 30 minute- fix to replace the wiring harness (assuming I...
I got told once by a guy in a JK Unlimited parked next to my Gladiator that he "doesn't wave at Gladiators because they aren't Jeeps". He didn't realize the CHERRY 1981 CJ-8 Scrambler next to my JT was my wife's. I asked how it was he didn't consider the Gladiator a truck when the Scrambler, a...

I was reading this article and it says that all but one of the trims are trail rated. Any ideas which trim level didn’t make the cut?
