How Toyota manages to sell out at every dealership with 10 year old tech inside 10 year old vehicles (4runner, Tacoma) with the only change being the digits that compose the "Model Year" on the window sticker will forever be a mystery to me.
agreed on this. The dilemma is I got my truck with the steel skid plate under the plastic bumper, and I don't want to have fabricate anything in order to continue to use the steel skid plate.
This might be a losing battle.
I believe that they did a REALLY good job on this truck.
I got my Gladiator because I have been in Jeeps forever and when they released a truck version it was able to take the place of my old Wrangler and my old light duty truck. If I were without a truck right now I would strongly consider...
Hi everybody.
Has anybody taken the plunge and picked one of these? If so, what's your take on quality/value? Im curious why it says "Professional installation is recommended", and also if the 2 end caps that are removable on the OEM bumper are removable on this bumper was well to make it...
I agree with that.
And honestly, a 5% discount is not worth my time scrolling. I've NEVER had a 5% discount tip a decision for me. So when companies post about a 5% discount, and then spam the thread with "reviews" from people, I just roll my eyes and ignore it.
I don't put things in my cart...
Congratulations on the new truck!
The thing about your Gladiator is that it immediately makes anyone that owns it a master at justification- you are going to become a master at convincing yourself you NEED a whole lot of things you didn't think you NEEDED prior to seeing them on this forum...
When I was in Iraq- in the very first days of OIF, we had a Dodge Ram 1500 work truck that the unit I was attached to had set up that we called a "Technical". It drove around these convoys of HETS that were delivering every all over the country, I assume.
It consisted of a M2 Machine gun...
This should be highlighted and stickied. So many people get into Gladiators and think "I'll just run 37s and a cheap lift on my stock gears". It is such a bad idea to skip re-gearing.
I went to Windrock park today in my ‘23 Gladiator Rubicon. I went with no recovery gear, and enough tools to fix any tire issues- bottle jack, regular jack, cordless impact drill and full set of impact bits. Also an Air compressor and a battery powered air pump. My goal was simply to see what a...
A month ago I would have agreed with you, but 2 weeks ago I traded in my '22 base sport manual here in Middle Tennessee for more than the $36,313.00 I paid for it, which included a $3450 "lifetime warranty" from a third party. I got $37,000 for the trade in, and I get the $3450 refunded. I got a...
I find this to be true in Middle Tennessee. So far, each warm Saturday this year the tops are all back and the doors are off on a majority of the Gladiotors I see.
I agree- I actually traded it in a couple of days after this issue occurred when the guidance from Stellantis came back and said something along the lines of "Our solution for the recall is in. Ultimately, this will reduce engine power to prevent issues". I don't want a further-neutered truck...
Isnt the Right side side a flag nut? that’s easier to deal with than an impact wrench…. they aren’t torqued to any crazy level.
the flag is part of the nut, Volt0. It means you only need 1 wrench for the bolt to complete the removal. No need to have a wrench on the nut.
Also I suggest getting...
I went from a Sport Manual to a Rubicon Automatic. I've never daily driven an automatic vehicle before.
First thing I noticed is that the ESS "moves" the truck quite a bit more in my new truck vs the Sport Manual when the truck turns back on. Not quite to an "I think my engine mounts are...
