Only asking because I’m not sure of the answer. Isn’t the factory holes in the box at the water forging height and the inlet to that intake tube well below that height. Wouldn’t this effectively create a straw sucking water in while driving through water below the usual max water height? BTW...

Look into powder coating them. I had a set of four done for about $75 ea.
