@JeepCares it has now been released, so is their an answer to the question (is Jeep making this “back dateable”?) In other words, can I go to the dealer and get an update for my 2020 to allow me to unlock my rear in 4hi?
A part of me wants to get some small black hinges to drill to the back of the lid, then be done with It. It came out really nice with the poly, excellent mirror shine on top, picture obviously doesn’t do It justice, but yeah, those hinges are as far as I’m going, if that even happens..,
Hahahahaha….De-skidded….sanded….5 coats of poly on top, 3 coats on the sides, a final spray coat all around…..all so she could throw that scraggly ass plant on there???? (although I think she keeps extra blankets in there as well ?‍♂️)
Not sure how patient you are but if you don’t want to wait, you can just directly order all of the parts individually (minus the shocks)from AllMoparParts.com (they’re a contributing vendor on the forum), DM Benny and see if he still has a coupon code for free shipping. This will come to under...
Awesome bro! I think mine came the same, control arms in a box, everything else in the crate. Enjoy the install, lifting the Jeep’s are always my favorite reason to pound beers and get dirty…
Edit:Just noticed you got a quote for install @ $430, that’s actually much better than some other folks...
It ended up being a change in front bump stops, don’t know why, don’t know the measurements on the -AB bump stops, but comparing the BOM between the AB & AC kits that was the only thing different I saw, and the new bump stop P/N actually now matches the bumpers they use in the JL kits
I bought mine from a dealer, 100ish miles on It, they were driving It around to a bunch of local fairs in August/ September 19’ (that’s where I first saw her ??) to put on display. Not sure how they acquired It but ended up dumping It to me for $55,xxx subtracting $32,000 (window sticker MSRP...
Yeah It looked like the weights were just barely missing the tightest area of the caliper, but then again the shop that did my MT/RS did quite a shitty job of balancing the wheels (weights all over the place), sort of got the idea they had never done a 35 before etc etc either way, didn’t see...
Possible, from looking at the pictures tho I do see a black line and some light polishing on the caliper which lines up exactly with the witness mark on the wheel, hopefully It was just some rocks or some wedges between. Just went for a quick ride, didn’t hear the grinding, keeping my fingers...
So with all that said…
1) Has anyone else noticed how dangerously tight their calipers are to the ID of their rear wheels (17x7.5), mine have to be rubbing from time to time…?
2)Normal auto parts stores don’t carry rear pads for the Gladiator? Not even warehouse / ship to store options?
Well, I must’ve jumped the gun (as many of you have stated), pads look fine, plenty left, more concerning is theirs the possibility that that back of my caliper is sometimes rubbing the inside of my wheel….passenger side rear…I only noticed the noise this morning after driving for about 20min...
