I agree. Just the metal cloak 3.5 is too much lift. I hate that the 2.5 system is a level. Really wish it was a fill system. I woulda bought a while ago.
Also I’m pushing metal cloak as they have the duraflex. I love not having to grease. I’m thinking of just doing the same 2.5 level with the daystar 3/4 in the rear. Thoughts?
Btw I am not lifted. Nor have I re geared. I’m a sport s and am overall very happy with the outcome. Did I lose power. Yes of course. But I feel it’s perfectly fine as is without gears. I’m going to add a lift just cause I want it for looks.
Ive decided to lift my JT. Im currently on 37s and love it but want to add 2.5 lift. I definitely dont want to go higher than that but Im torn on systems. I do not like budget lifts so I want a full system. I do minor offroading so I'll admit lift is mostly for looks. On road handling is...
I just have a peeve when the front is higher than the rear. I know I’m rare that I like a little rake. I do think a 3/4 to inch daystar spacer would be enough. But as I mentioned just seems so wrong to budget lift the rear of such an amazing lift.
I’ve been eyeing the 2.5 metal cloak lift. My big question is that it doesn’t seem to have any lift for the rear. Is this correct. I know there’s a rake. But 2.5 up front alone seems like too much. Is this the case
Nah you feel the weight. It’s just not like a horrible change. Keep in mind the 37s are only a few more pounds than the 35s. I noticed a bigger change stock to 35 vs 35 to 37.
I’m on a sport man. But I do not go hardcore off-road. Yes you loose some pick up moving to 37s. For me and my terrain it’s just fine. I don’t feel like regearing is a must but it’s also flat and sea level where I live. I may add a 3/4 spacer up front just to level it out but so far I’m happy...
Ok so I removed the little bumper to fender connectors to add space for larger tires. I grinded them down to a nice fit and when I went to put them on....I threw away all the screws. Anyone know where I can find some or what the size is?
Thanks
