I had the notchy steering and wondering issue. I’m now on my second replacement it’s it’s awesome. I don’t know if the issue with the first one was box or was install issue. All I know is my. Second replacement box is awesome. Also I would encourage everyone to use Jeep cares. While they can’t...
Fwiw Clayton stands behind there stuff. I had a unique scenario that was no fault of theirs or their parts and they 100% helped me out when they didn’t need to. I can’t comment for metal cloak but claytons service is the best I’ve dealt with
Ive been wanting to do the front driveshaft, but i dont understand the difference between all the connections etc.
From my understanding the rear drive shaft has plenty of clearance
Where you having issues with the stock one? I have the same lift On road its not issue at all, but I agree if you flex a decent amount, you'll run into issues
Ok. I’m about to get my synergy drag link and tie rod installed. I hear a lot of talk about doing a top mount drag link to correct geometry. I’m riding on a 3.5 Clayton. At what point is top mount recommended? What parts do I need if it is recommended. I know steer smarts makes a front track...
I’m thinking about adding these on. My wheels are 17x8.5 with 5.2 backspacing. Will I run into clearance issues with a sport s if I go synergy tie rod and drag link
I'll do it again if you feel it can make a change. What my guy did was put vac on it. Wait a few minutes. Turn side to side with vac on and car on......turned car off. Did side to side for a few minutes with car off and vac on.
Did this with front of car jacked up.

my wander is not gone, and i have the notchiness. Biggest difference is my jeep tends to track straight. I still wander but its not as extreme as before. Its still a big improvement, especially on highway
Any idea how u bled it. I had a buddy bleed mine. 25 wheel turns up on jack with car off. 25 turns while car on.
I can’t imagine it needs to be bled more after this but. Doing this did not solve my problem
I did most of this. Steering wheel returns to center. I’ve got adjustable control arms, caster is where it should be, rechecked all the torque on the entire front end, jacked up front. Ran wheels side to side over 30 times. Never stopped getting bubbles but my pump never made noise at lock. One...
Also there is no notchy feeling with the front end on a jack. It’s smooth as butter. That’s also what makes me feel something else could be the issue.
FYI. I didn’t have this notchy feeling before. It’s new. So I went from sloppy to tight and notchy. It almost feels like something is loose in my front end or pump is not strong enough. Quick question. When you guys are checking your steering. If you are above the motor and have someone else...
