Yup. Can anyone comment on how we fix the notchy feel. My box got replaced with tsb. I had to add fluid three times. Didn’t do anything for the notchy feel. I also cycled steering side to side 15 times. Some bubbles came up. Could there be more or is there another issue
I got the new TSB and box installed. I went through a few minor issues where there wasn’t enough fluid. I have filled it up on three occasions. And now the fluid is holding steady. I remove the cap and ran my steering wheel side to side and saw some bubbles come up and kept doing it until I saw...
Had my box replaced. I’ve had to ad like half a quart total via three seperate occasions. Seems like the box is drinking it lol Tank Was bone dry when I got home. Figured I’d check cause steering was off. Just wondering if it’s being absorbed into the system or if I got a leak somewhere
What is the volume of the power steering system. I’ve needed to add fluid three times. I don’t see any leak. Looks like they barely filled it when they swapped box
It pulled all over the place before the repair and three shops swore the alignment was good. It drives great. Just steering wheel off center bothers me. Lol
It helps to know someone there. In my case. The dealer is well aware of steering complaints from tons of people so it’s not crazy to hear it. I brought them the tsb and said I don’t care what it takes, or how long, I’ll wait
However long it takes. What do you want from me to be put in line...
Got the new box today. I wouldn’t say it feels completely different as much as it just tracks straight. Still a little dead spot up top but closer to how my jk steers. Biggest thing is she drives straight. No more random wondering. No more constant correcting. You can kinda tell it’s the same...
I’m 3.5 lift on 37s. Dealer didn’t care. It’s a tsb and they’ve seen a ton of steering complaints. There’s no reason for them to not want to do it. I could understand if there’s extra labor from the lift...which there’s not. My dealer didn’t care.
I took it to another shop far away that specializes in suspensions. They revised all the control arms and it’s better. It’s also a mix of looseness in the box which is at dealer getting replaced. My steering box was so loose that it wander....
Did you find it, I have the 3.5 and it’s a great lift. Really love it. Like I said my issue was we reversed the upper control arms. So the right side would click when it hit the frame. Our fault for not seeing there was a right or left. Other things are sway bar end link bolts loosen up and...
