Back in the 90s florida had an "environment impact fee" that was the same as what dealers in florida charged. People sued because a car from ga or a new car in fl has same impact. State won a couple times. Florida. It's home but it's the shady part of the USA
I traded a 2020 sport on a 24 mojave. Love the power leather seats. Really comfortable on a drive for 3 hours.
The big screen is okay. Just seems to big to me. Still getting used to it. It's very bright at night even on low setting.
The rest is all goodies for mojave. Locker etc. So far...
When motortrend reviewed an early mojave they did so without weight distribution hitch or anti sway. It didnt go well ( they were over max load i think) I would recommend a weight distribution hitch if you are in a hurry (over 65 mph) and or doing long runs with the trailer. I haven't...
@professorkx. I like going fast. I have hit 70 on some of the trails in Ocala. A rubi can't do that. I learned a Yoda pro can't either. It's an amazing suspension. I wouldn't change it. My fear is going even to light 37s will ruin how this suspension works. The recon narrow 37s are on 71...
Found onX is now setting up trail clean up days.

I looked at both. Got the Mojave. Sand and mud in fl. No rocks to climb. Maybe that front locker would help a lot in mud. But the suspension is so nice.
Buddy just finished a 60/80 axles install on a JL. The prices are crazy. Everything has to be swapped for beefier solution. He did it after moving to 40s on the stock 44s and breaking stuff 3 events in a row. He is a "send it" type of guy but with no engine mods his axle suspension brakes etc...
Just offer a 2500 gladiator. Epa can stuff itself along with cafe. And throw a big gas v8. Dana 60s with a full float rear. 😋 it's a 15mpg truck. Cafe requirements will kill it. I expect before 2032 1500s will not be offered unless electric and to get a real pickup you will have to 2500
Daven if you can live with the lock being the tailgate.
There are a lot of options for hard foldable. I picked up a cheap 300$ 3 fold for mine in December works great so far. Closed it's locked by tail gate
Tono king for example. Under $400
I wheel alone more often than in a group
How is wheel changes.
Is that mud hole really really needed to be traversed or can I skirt around it?
If I have to go though do I have trees or other hard points in reach to winch?
I never "just send it" alone.
I wade into it on foot first alone...
5.7 as an option on a willy's. A rear locker and a 5.7 would be a great starting point for any build. Don't lock it into high trims.
If they could offer a willys 5.7 for 45k they would have a big seller
