I am sorry you are having to deal with this. My experience with most "things" is that if they are going to break, they either break very early or generally after things start to wear out. Electronic items more so than mechanical. Electronics generally die quickly or never at all.
When I email the dealer (a buddy's cousin), he is able to download and send me a sheet that says when it should ship from the factory right down to the minute. Of course, I don't believe that level of detail is accurate. I would start with the dealer and then move on to the Jeep Chat people if...
Sent the dealer an email. He says I am in D1 status with a ship date of Aug 28. At 1:59. AM. I hope the guy who drives it off the line is not groggy. But Friday morning is better than Friday night I suppose.
I am not sure the tracking link on this forum works. I think the only reason you are getting what you are getting is that you provided that info when you first signed up. I am getting the same thing... Best I can tell, that think hasn’t had any new data in a long time.
I think I chatted with her the other day. I got a similar answer when I asked about the code. I will check in with the dealer and see what he can find out.
It is supposed to be the Jeep customer service chat site. Here is the link:
https://fcacommunity.force.com/Jeep/s/knowledge
I found it on the threads in the Ordering, Pricing, Negotiating and Tracking section of the forum.
They want your VIN, model type and home address. They will then tell...
I should have added initially that what Jeep has officially said is that the diesel Gladiator will be at the dealerships in the third quarter. I don’t know when they have to start building them to get them delivered by that time, but I still hope to have mine in my garage in September. I have a...
What kind of results have you had on HF using this mount? Any RF grounding issues? What bands, etc.? I am thinking about something similar for my screwdriver, except mounting it to the T-Slot rail on the tonneau so that I can use the antenna with the tonneau closed. I recognize that may add...
I have made it 60 years on this earth and have never owned anything with a T-Slot rail. I have a Gladiator on order. It will have trail rails. I am planning to add the BAK Revolver X-4. It has T-Slot rails. The new Yakima cross bars (and others) have T-Slots. Vector makes a dash mounting system...
Somebody posted a link to the Mopar diesel lift kit on another thread a while back. I remember looking at it at the time. I went back to that link and got a 404 error. So who knows?
I have pretty much decided to let the dust settle a while before I do a lift just so I can see what comes out and how people like them. I don't see a clear path forward on the whole wheel/tire/lift/belly pan decision for my use case.
The followers of the EcoDiesel section of the forum have been musing about when we might get our diesels in our driveways. I figured this new thread would be a way those of us who have ordered ours can compare notes on the progress of building and delivering them. My loaded JT Rubicon...
I don't have any late model diesels with after-treatment, so please forgive my ignorance. Will a Taser give me similar information? I recognize this gives you a nice additional display which the Taser does not have, but was wondering if the Taser might allow me to pull it up on the UConnect...
They responded to an email I sent and said this product was pulled from the market for an unspecified defect and they are working to get a new version out soon.
I ordered mine last week. I am more or less expecting it to take two months. This release says third quarter, so I should have it by the end of September in any event.
