  1. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

Ride that stock track bar, tie rod, and drag link till the wheels fall off. Lol. My stock track bar made it 170k miles. And that's 170k miles towing, hauling, daily driving, and beating the crap out of it rockcrawling. When I upgraded my stock equipment, all of it was still functioning good. But...
  2. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

So. I put a stock track bar back on the Jeep until I see what Apex is going to do. Night and day difference while driving.
  3. Death Wobble Drastically Worse After Replacing Parts. Have questions

Or... Just throwing this out there. Maybe one of your aftermarket parts is bad or went bad. It happens. Aftermarket parts are built by the same type of people that built the stock parts.... Humans. So, it can happen. I had my stock front suspension for 170K miles and I beat the crap out of it...
  4. Exceedfab is looking for product testers.

What kind of jeeps are you looking to test on? Show ready, always clean, and mostly pavement jeeps? Or 200k mile, trail beaten, working jeeps? That's something that people need to know. If you're looking for a jeep that can show off your products at shows, some jeep owners like myself wouldn't...
  5. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

Yes. You could actually move the tie rod up and down with one finger.
  6. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

I actually registered within a week of receiving the parts. I already made the claim. They claim form gives you an option of 50%, 75%, or 100%. I checked 75%. Even though I only have 30k since install of the steering assembly, I have made a few wheeling trips and I figured they wouldn't 100%...
  7. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

Yes. That was part of the reason for my post. I wanted to see what was going on myself but I thought it would be interesting for everyone else to see. I posted a video last week about excessive movement in the tie rod. I contacted Apex and they said the stabilizer was improperly mounted and...
  8. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

Wait! That's actually a good idea. I don't know if they're XRF or not. Even though they're stamped Apex, they could be XRF with a Apex stamp. I need to look into that. So, I'm assuming the cavfab is XRF? I was waiting on Apex to respond to my claim, but I think they're going to give me the...
  9. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

It's an Apex 2.5 ton Tie Rod and Drag Link assembly.
  10. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

You'd be surprised at what you can do with 1 tow strap, three soft shackles, 8 zip ties, and a roll of duct tape.😶🤣
  11. Well, well, well.... Would ya look at this?

Shaky, Shaky! For your viewing pleasure! Enjoy!
  12. Rear airbags suspension discovered... is this a win for me?

That's why I had the Ram 1500 1000HDs. They're thicker than the regular 1000s so they ride a tad bit harsher with air, but no issues with splitting or anything. And those bags put in work! I now have airlift air springs.
  13. Tie Rod Movement

Ok everyone, I fixed the tierod movement. The pass through bolt design mount for the steering stabilizer had the steering stabilizer at angled position and not parallel with the tie rod. I Used a Stabilizer mount from RPM steering which positioned the stabilizer horizontal and parallel with the...
  14. Tie Rod Movement

The stabilizer? Falcon. The Tie rod and Drag Link? Apex.
  15. Tie Rod Movement

Actually... I found the issue. I changed the bracket on the stabilizer from the through bolt to a separate bracket from RPM. Because the new bracket allowed the stabilizer to be configured a different way, once I installed it, the issue stopped. I think it's because of the angle of the...
  16. Florida Trail doors - $175

Actually, sold recently. Sorry. Just marked as sold. My apologies.
  17. Tie Rod Movement

Yeah, your TRE's are pretty much shot. I hope you aren't driving it like that. Nope. Already contacted the manufacturer.
  18. Tie Rod Movement

Your feelings are exactly how I feel. There is a slight movement in the track bar, but not enough to create an issue. I had to stare at it for about 30 seconds to see it. And hell, I'm still not sure if it's movement or it's my glasses.🤣 But my tie rod ends are shot! Thanks for your input!👍🏻
