I'm looking at doing something similar and wondered about your spacer lift. Did you need to add shock mount extensions or were the Rubicon shocks long enough that you didn't need them? I'd rather stay away from shock extensions.

Yeah I would look for a cheap one used at least. Even a nearly bald spare would probably be better than a 33.

My understanding though has always been with 4wd is the spare has to match the other tires at least in diameter, otherwise you can cause damage with 2 differently sized wheels on the same axle because they spin at different speeds. So you shouldn’t use your 33 spare with 35s. But...
