I've got the Ryobi 12" battery powered with multiple batteries including some 9AH. Works great and doesn't break the bank. Figured that one out affter we rented a Jeep in Washington state and got trapped by not 1 but 2 downed trees on a windy day. Fortunately only a mile away were some guys...
No kidding! While I'm more of an easy to moderate trail guy, I can appreciate the time, effort, and money it takes to build and then run with one of these rigs. Well done Rummie, loved the video! I was only able to do Ophir this year in my stock Gladiator but it was a blast. All the others were...
Yeah we have to keep it going, not too many of us out there and won't be unless Jeep brings the color back. I have a couple in my area, in fact I sold our little BMW to a guy in our neighborhood that has a Gobi. He just laughed when I showed him a picture of what I was buying. I mean what are...
Still pretty much stock (Sport S with 4.10s and limited slip), but still having a blast. So happy I found the Gobi with almosy every option I wanted. Just some photos of some local stuff and a CO trip in June. Only got to do Ophir Pass, others were closed or only partly open.
I'm interested but heading on a trip to CO in a week so perhaps when I get back (June 26 or so). If still for sale then, I 'll contact you. I'm in San Diego.
I'm down by La Jolla and have a set of stock rims and tires to swap. Let me know if your interested. You keeping the Rubicon bumper or are you looking to swap that too?
I've had the very same issue. If I'm not driving it every day or every other day, or God forbid go 4 days or more without driving it, the battery is charging and ESS dosn't work. Takes a good long while to charge fully. There is either a problem with these batteries, or some kind of drain on...
Is there a way for yous to be adjustable height? I see you have 3 height options but it seems I have to buy one of the 3 and it's not adjustable. Is that right? And how do you mount things to the side of the rack, are those additional brackets you have to buy? IT wasn't clear to me on your website.
Yeah the Leitner for one requires it, I know that, and I think Rebel Off Road does too although they will sell you a similar system for less than Mopar. Leitner is out for me because after the cost I still have to pay for their storage boxes that are terribly expensive. The system over all...
Is your modular system truly modular (for height), or do I need to select one size and that's what I'm stuck with? I'd like it to be lower for the RTT, but then adjust to max height in case I need to carry some long lumber (I'd need a roof solution for that too). Just wondering, thanks!
Thanks for the info and the Excel sheet, you've saved me some time. Man this is prefect timing. I just ordered my RRT and need something to hold it up! Similar issues as others, not one rack fits all of my needs, at least at around $1000 which is where I'd like to keep it. I'm leaning Road Armor...
I love those wheels! And the graphics are spot on, love the coloring. White is a great palette. What did you do to the fenders? Looks like you painted the plastic fenders? Am I seeing that right?
