  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Does the job, but it's too wide for the driver side visor. Can't put the visor down properly, so if I had to do it again, I would look for an 8 inch wide mirror, or a different style. It's a minor annoyance, not enough for me to spend the money to fix the problem though.
  2. Transfer case linkage is not moving, truck will not shift into 4 wheel drive.

Went and took a better picture now that the truck is cooled off. Gonna call the dealer and see what we can do about this. If they're going to charge me labor to fix this, I'll just buy the bolts and do it myself. Hopefully they'll own up to it and put it back together once I drop it off this...
  3. Transfer case linkage is not moving, truck will not shift into 4 wheel drive.

@DylanM Dude you rock! That's exactly whats wrong, those two (three?) bolts are MIA. I can move the whole assembly by hand. I had the transmission replaced under warranty back in December, I'm wondering if my transfer case was removed as part of that and a tech gave that bracket the ol finger...
  4. Transfer case linkage is not moving, truck will not shift into 4 wheel drive.

Well, got big problem, my 4 wheel drive is broken! It looks like my transfer case linkage is broken, but I'm not sure where. Short version of this is I went to go play in the dunes after work, and when I went to shift into 4-high, I got a limp linkage. Truck would not engage into any 4x4 mode...
  5. I cut a giant hole in my tailgate! Reaper Off-Road Tailgate Box install and write-up.

I'd say you would be able to cram in a ARB Single if you orient the air outlet to the side, maybe the twin if you can get it to lay flat enough. I'd offer to go measure the box, but my Jeep is at the dealer getting a new transmission via warranty. It's been there since December, who knows how...
  6. Stubby GMRS antenna question.

Simpson strong tie, about $2, plus using a drill with a step bit to make those holes a bit wider and some bedliner for the finish.
  7. CAN I ADD USEABLE CLEARANCE WITH AFTERMARKET FENDERS ON MY JT ??

I have the Rugged Ridge Max Terrain flares. They're about an inch wider for better tire coverage, and added about 4 inches of clearance compared to my stock flares. Pretty happy with them. I wrote about them in detail here if you don't mind a bit of reading.
  8. Mopar reveals 250 limited-production Mopar '24 Jeep Gladiator

They're getting the (deserved) hate because of the ridiculous 70,000+ price tag, not even fully optioned! No Rubicon should cost anywhere near that. I remember my old man bought himself a brand new 2015 JKU Rubicon Hard Rock, fully optioned out, and the original window sticker ran $41,795 (I...
  9. There's no way they shipped this many winches when I only paid for 1 ...

Save one for me please! P.S. You might want to keep an eye on that ol credit card statement.
  10. J E E P tailigate lettering removed / dimensions?

They have plastic templates to line up the badges without adding holes to the sheetmetal too. They use them on the Wagoneer for pete's sake! The REAL reason those holes are there is because Jeep doesn't want you de-badging their trucks.
  11. Who wants a loooooooong bed….?

More money than sense OR taste!

  13. No-drill inner fenders

The red brackets are my factory fender supports. That black lower bracket is actually part of my Rugged Ridge Max Terrain Fender Flares.
  14. Shift Knob Extensions?

The AI overlords at Youtube pushed this to my feed, figured I'd let you know. I bet these guy's can make you something custom that suits your needs. Not gonna be cheap though, expect at least $300 for the pair.
  15. No-drill inner fenders

They're holding up fine for the last 2 years, no real signs of wear. I'm pretty sure the polypropylene construction is the reason why. Heat and weather resistant, while still flexible, and the lightest option by far. I've taken them off a few times and there's no real signs of wear. I won't...
  16. Show me your DUCKS !

I got a duck!? After building the truck for 4 years! Maybe the layer of dust on it made the difference. I opted to spear him on the Rubigrid for a more secure ride. The look on his face says ... something. ?
