I just swapped my fender flares for some Rubicon take-offs and am now looking for some inner finder liners to fit. I'd planned to get some OEM Rubicon inners, but the take-offs didn't come with them, and it seems like replacements are seriously backordered. I've been reading about how they are often sucked into the wheel well with bigger tires and cause problems anyway. So my question is, are there any inners out there that don't require drilling? I just can't bring myself to drill holes in my truck. If there's a solution that is truly bolt on, that's the direction I'd prefer. I've already purchased one set that were supposed to be a direct replacement that don't fit. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Just a comment about the factory liners with large tires. I am running 37's and have been for 24k miles - never an issue with factory inner liners.

Maybe folks with weird offset wheels allow the tire to rub and then catch the edge of the inner liner?

Could be. I'm not sure what the cause is, but the JT these fender flares came from chewed up one of the OEM inners, so I don't have them. I figured, better safe than sorry when buying replacements, but if I can't find a set that doesn't require drilling, I'll go with the OEM Rubicon replacement inners.

If you're interested in a set of the plastic style liners, I'm running a set of Paramount liners in the front on my truck, and Rugged Ridge in the back. Although I don't recommend the Paramounts for the rear liners, I had bought a set and they don't fit correctly, fronts are just fine.

You'll gain clearance, and they're the lightest way to go.

Where did you find the front Paramounts? Looks like they are discontinued.

I bought mine from the Paramount site about a year ago. Guess they've gone out of production since then.

Bummer.

How are the rugged ridge rear liner fender liners holding up? Any problems? Dislikes? Do you wish you had aluminum? I have aluminum fronts but looking hard at the rugged ridge polyurethane for the rear. Mainly price, but I really need all the extra tire clearance I can get. Thx

They're holding up fine for the last 2 years, no real signs of wear. I'm pretty sure the polypropylene construction is the reason why. Heat and weather resistant, while still flexible, and the lightest option by far. I've taken them off a few times and there's no real signs of wear.

I won't lie, I have been looking around for a set of aluminum liners, but it's the front liners that are the problem area. The ABS material hasn't held up as well compared to the rears. They're chipped and warped in a few spots, and the holes are starting to wear wide to the point where I'm worried they're going to come loose. These Paramount liners are also discontinued as well.

The Rugged ridge rears are fine however.

Thanks. I think I’ll give them a shot. For the money and the ease of install.

What is the bracket on the lower part and f the from flare. Something you bought or made? I just chopped my fenders. I used CavFab front aluminum inner with AAL fender retention. Flares seem to be rigid enough. Once I get the RR plastic inners I’ll add the AAL nutserts and see how the flares hold up.

The red brackets are my factory fender supports. That black lower bracket is actually part of my Rugged Ridge Max Terrain Fender Flares.
