I will be in a similar situation with a tow vehicle except I haven't regeared yet. I have 37in tires and 2.5in lift with 4.10s on a rubi. I've been researching this a lot and on some of those that live at altitude and cover significant elevation change (colorado passes) said their JT struggles...
Yeah, I don't really want to drill either. I think my question got buried in my rambling. Is it as simple as it looks to remove the JCR roof rack...just loosen 4 bolts?
Thanks for posting that. It looks great! I had a Gobi Stealth rack on my JKU and I loved it but it kept me from taking my hardtop off as much if I didn't have the rack.
I want to get back to taking my hardtop off more often now that I have the Gladiator. If I want to remove my hardtop...
Sorry to ressurect this thread but as a new JTR owner I found his video review very helpful, especially since I will be towing long distances and heavy loads. I agree with others that the more towing with heavy loads one does, the more wear and tear there is on the vehicle. But going off-road...
