Yes, but would sales increase enough to justify the cost of additional options? Apparently, Stellantis has determined that it won't. With the heat debacle of the Ecodiesel, the next likely engine option under that hood will be a generator to recharge the batteries on the EV model JT.
Offering different engine options costs money. A full set of crash tests has to be done for each available option. They also have to deal with the EPA regulations. Look at all the heat issues with the Ecodiesel. They are not going to stick another six cylinder engine with a turbo under that...
I tried mounting some of the truck bed strip lights in my SmartCap years ago. The summer heat caused the VHB tape to separate and the lights fell down.
I'll order one of these kits next July and see how well it works.
The settings section on the head unit allows the Auto High Beams to be disabled and the Forward Collision Warning set to Notify only. The Adaptive Cruise Control has to be enabled with the steering wheel button each time the vehicle is started.
I don't know if any of those systems can be...
That is the housing around the Radar Unit and the Camera that are utilized by the Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Automatic High Beam systems.
Have you checked under the dash for the tracker your dealer installed?
Jeep does not actively track these vehicles. The truck does, however, regularly check in and upload data to the servers. Paying for the Guardian Service allows very basic control of the vehicle, and the ability to...
You will also want to check the high current fuse array on the side of the fuse box, when you are done. These can get damaged when replacing batteries, if not very careful.
That will work. The easiest way is to just disconnect the Aux Battery Negative cable from the IBS.
Separately charge each battery, let them sit for a while with no load, and then check the voltage. Each one, if healthy, will read near 12.8 volts.
The dealers have trouble fixing these 'problems' because they are constrained by Jeep policies. The decision making has been taken away from the dealer. They can no longer replace weak or failing batteries and submit a warranty claim. The battery has to actually fail before Jeep will approve...
It showed up at 3:20 this afternoon, seems to be a good product. I'm going to use it to consolidate my current work bag. This will have what I use most often, and the rest will remain in the other bag until needed. My current bag has become quite heavy and has too much in it.
I would have to ask why? I see no compelling reason to disconnect the Aux Battery, and you have described no issues with it. Replace the Main Battery with a 94R when the time comes, and replace or disconnect the Aux Battery when it starts to fail.
If you're ordering through the dealer you don't really need to worry about the FOB part number. They will order what the system says you need based on the VIN. It will only be a problem if the previous owner added something like Remote Start after purchase.
I've been looking at these for a while. The Official Tool Roll looks to be a great product, and I almost purchased in October during Prime Days when they were 15% off. Amazon now has them on a Black Friday deal for $44, cheaper than the company website, but that's still more than I want to...
Your 2023 Sport should have come with two key FOB's and cut keys. Leaving the lot without two fully functioning FOB's means you are stuck for the cost. They are about $250 each, from the dealer. They have to be ordered using the VIN and take about two weeks to arrive.
