  5. 35's and Rubicon Rims

This was an aim for me and other posts on this forum on the subject were a great help. I wanted to go with a 35x11.5 but they're unavailable here in Qatar. I ended up with the BFG AT in 315/70/17 on my Rubicon rims and have no regrets or rubbing. The tyre fitters didn't bat an eyelid fitting...

I like piping up on the MPG threads because mine seems to do well. I appreciate I'm in a mostly flat country but the JTR spends a lot of time off road (hard dirt and soft sand). Over the last 600+ miles of road and dune bashing I have averaged an indicated 20.2mpg running 315/70/17 BFG ATs...

  14. Starting cheap

As a temporary solution before RTT and expedition home, a cheap pop up tent in the bed with an air mattress works well with room to spare.

    no, not usually.
  20. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

Hi folks I have posted elsewhere but here is my 21 JTR. I'm in Qatar so the JTR is a euro spec (wing mirrors, tail lights and low front fenders) with the 3.6 and 8AT. Stock it comes on pram wheel 255/75/17 BFG muds but is now on the 315/70/17 BFG AT which look and ride great. At the end of...
