Wouldn't hurt to get a trade in quote, especially if you're thinking of changing brand. Jeep dealer will know they can just let you turn it in and then they can buy it wholesale from the lease company. But go to a different brand and get a payoff quote. Then you'll know for sure what it's worth...
Passengers kick the plug out all the darn time!
But...I didn't trust the floor mat to create a proper seal to the body. So I leave the body plugs in the floor, and I ordered a second set of plugs to seal the mats. So when I need to drain them, I just lift up the back corner a little, pull the...
Oh no doubt. If you got the time and the coin, this is the ultimate way to go. I got lucky and had the mopars included with my truck, otherwise I'd give this a serious look.
It's the unplanned stuff where that drain really helps. Drop a coffee, can of your favorite beverage, etc on the floor by accident, it just sits there nicely until you pull the drain and let it go out of the bottom of the truck. Then you can pull the mat out and clean it without having to figure...
Strip it, turn it in, and take advantage of the deep discounts going on right now. A lot of your parts will transfer over to your new Rubi or Mojave quite nicely ;-). The lease company doesn't want your mods, and may even charge you for having them on there instead of stock parts.
AMW wants 35 for a 392...they don't list a 5.7 but might be worth calling for a quote on that. I'd think it would be a bit less then a 392. Still a little more then 12k I'm wagering, but I would not pay 12k to install another 3.6.
This reminds me of an old photographer saying...the best camera is the one you have with you. (That Digital SLR isn't worth squat if you need a shot and it's sitting on the shelf at home)
I wouldn't have ordered the BT speaker, but I'm very glad the truck came with it. I have a JBL Flip 4 that...
Oh don't get me wrong, the fun and function of the Jeep far outweighs my need for high end audio. But...it's also my daily, so it might as well at least sound decent.
Looks like a quality kit for sure. Not sure if I'd be able to bring myself to make that cut though. Engine should be happier with that nice cool clean air.
And that was at stock height? Really considering the Mopar LCAs myself. For under 100 bucks, why not.
Does beg the question though...most lifts do LCA. What's really better? I know we are only talking about an inch, and both accomplish the same goal...but is it better to have the wheelbase an...
With 1.5 I'd think you'd at least want a longer LCA. Rubicons and Mojaves are right on the edge of needing more caster right from the factory, in fact some put in a longer LCA at stock height and seem to benefit from better steering. But then I read this....do I have the concept wrong, or is...
My 20 had a headliner, and I thought the Alpine sounded great. Bass was well balanced, it could have used a dedicated tweeter up front, I had planned to put a 2 way in the top dash, never got around to it. My 23 does NOT have a headliner, now the bass echos and the soundstage is a bit off. I had...
I actually put down a rubber bed mat in mine to cushion things a bit and keep things from sliding around more. The combo of spray in and rubber mat work really well for me.
