It’s a kenwood amp driving the stealthbox and a kenwood with maestro driving the rest of the system 6.5” components all around. It was a complete factory integration for the 5v output.
I had it professionally installed (I’m too lazy to rip apart the Jeep) but they said its pretty easy. Thing is...
I have the stealthbox and love it (actually I have a whole custom system) .. it’s not obnoxious bass like a 16 year old Honda driver. It has a nice little punch and really wakes up the lows. Much better than the “upgraded” factory alpine system (I could barely make out any bass with that sub)
Ok maybe I’m exaggerating a little. It doesn’t like fill with air like a sail, but I notice it does catch some air enough for me to notice it out of my peripherals. I would have been nice if those “bungee” type straps for the rear window could keep the top right but like I said I just got some...
Ok so since we are talking about soft tops I got a side question for everyone. First off I love the soft top but I hate that it fills with air when driving down highway. My solution has been to wrap Velcro around it to keep it tight. Anyone else notice this or have other ideas?
Ok I gotta ask the obvious was the install correct? There is a different part number for each corner. Could be different spring rates given weight on a particular corner.
Your lucky you even got the new hardtop.. I’ve been waiting for a new hardtop (due to the leak) since mid October. Finally after several calls to dealer service/parts (them getting nowhere) they told me to contact corporate. I decided to start with Jeep cares first as they have been good to me...
Oh ok yeah that’s an issue I couldn’t tell
From your picture. But I would agree with others as there should be some spacers. If I had put a few spacers on my bumper my wires wouldn’t be against the grill but to remove 200lbs is a major pain
well im added to the club i noticed a water leak and i have amp/speakers right under the window so got it checked out. my dealer couldnt locate a part number for the rear glass and FCA told them to just replace entire hard top. so while waiting for new hardtop im just using a towel to catch and...
Mine were snakes thru the nylon tabs and still did in albeit I’m not the lightest weigh person but still.. I’m actually liking the look better with no bottoms.
I have a set of bartacts for front and rear for over a year now. I really like them but I just recently had to rip the seat portion off. It kept pulling out from between the upper and lower seat.
I wouldn’t say this is bartacts fault but it was disappointing. I also found no matter how much I...
Awesome thanks for the reply.. how is the finish on them? Better to get their finish or get bare and finish myself?
while they are pricier than I hoped they are the only ones I have actually liked the look of. I’m hoping there will be a good Black Friday deal to get them a little cheaper.
Anyone installed the metal cloak overland rocker and flip step kit on their JT? I’ve looked at all steps and so far metal cloak is the only one I like. I’m not worried about quality as I believe metalcloak only sells quality parts. Just want reviews
hows the step work?
Does it lock in place (up...
Yes they do I was worried about damage but I’ve had it like that for a year and no signs of damage.. if I could do it again I would have put a few spacers on the bumper bolts to move it out a little bit but no biggie
It’s your second battery every Jeep 3.6 engine has a second smaller “motorcycle” style battery.. so just disconnecting the posts from main battery doesn’t disconnect power from vehicle
