Aaaarrrrgh!
Missed the e-mail, they had over 53,000 and ended up giving away 3 winches, and no one named Jack won so...I'm a loser but we are all winners cause HF gave a 10% off code to all entrants .
Should know any day now if any of us won , was over on the second I should getting my e-mail in a day or so announcing I won a winch...wait I just installed a winch......Jack:like:
Bill not sure where you are going with the math, but putting 3" taller springs on, in a hurry, I would rent the spring compressors ahead of time and have them there in case. So you are expecting to lift your front about 2.25" perhaps assuming same sag perhaps?
OR, step back take a break and do...
Bennie D be careful going to any of the top places like say Next Venture, they all have stuff you just have to have, like full skid plates with plastic slide plates, or gold colored galvanizing, yes and you better get the Metal Cloak rear sway bar brace, it’s a must have….and on and on and on!….Jack
Differential skid? I think Next Venture makes about the best, not cheap but pretty damn nice and protects all the way back to driveshaft. Motobuilt makes an excellent one as does Metal Cloak. There have been changes but basically comes down to drain plugs. There are lots out there….Jack
If you only want to use the hole from the plastic trim piece between bumper and grill , Nutzert is the answer, or fishing a string or wire through then pulling a bolt with lock washer on it out of the hole then hold it with screwdriver against threads and mount what you want. I would not cut off...
Birch looks great stained, and won’t hold the dirt of carpet, do you need a little lip at the front edge to keep stuff from falling behind seats. Just remember be a weight weenie my friend! ….Jack
The tailgate has holes as mentioned and the driver side badge has an indent although I have seen people put GMRS antennas there, or just debadge the easy stuff and don’t worry about the tailgate and badge. I seem to have gone the opposite direction taking off the black Gladiator decal and...
I went the Oracle route and am very happy but these have a good basic look, just seems like needs more time on prep before paint and perhaps the side light instead of being flushed the way it is might look better surface mounted, I agree that the inside needs powder or paint, might need a side...
I agree with Summitdan, looks like it has moved towards passenger side by the mark by bolt and putting on a drive shaft spacer at same time is cheap insurance, is driveshaft rubbed at all? Kudos for checking after that adventure you had recently…..Jack
I'll PM you and keep off this thread...but yes LOD plate, expensive very light winch, and 1/4" steel plate across frame horns then some large flat washers to space it out exactly. Pix coming your way
Might have come off a little rude about the ground wire but the Voswitch only has power coming in and then out on one wire for each switched relay, ground gets picked up at ground points instead of adding a bunch of connections. So hooking that yellow wire warn is calling out to your Voswitch...
The yellow wire in the warn directions goes to the Voswitch, you only need one wire from the relay in the voswitch to the warn interupt solenoid, hook the other wire on the solenoid to ground on battery as it says, even if you have the newer voswitch with ground terminals. The warn switch in the...
