Looking at the last post and how you drive and the fact they are ten pounds lighter per tire I would run them, and would not be worried , you might be able to run a bit higher PSI when towing if needed….Jack
Jealous as hell and looking forward to pictures, as for the tee shirts, probably better to have them at home when you get back instead of having them all torn and covered with mud, grease , blood, sweat, and tears!
Have a great time guys, I gotta retire or lay myself off to get time to head...
Yakima and Thule both make rails similar to RSI that would fit tight on and could be drilled to match your holes and open you up to more options, I had Yakima roof rails on Suburban for years and held up great.
The roof rails are optional now? They were pretty nice and low and have served well hauling kayaks and stuff. I guess you want to use the existing bolts so that measurement will dictate choices, or drill more holes in roof….Jack
I think the Mojave with it's perhaps twenty pound heavier hood, additional plates welded on frame, higher offset tires, one inch lift, larger shocks with remotes would be very close but not better then a Rubicon, which the lower transfer case gearing and front sway bar disconnect and front...
Well the Wrangler 392 hood is vented but there are rubber flaps about six of them that when not moving or not moving fast shut off the opening under the hood. the hood also supplies air to the air filter box all the time. So perhaps when stopped having the air being sucked in by fan through...
Flip up side doors no matter what kind of cap someone has is awesome access is great, I have a cap with flip up doors, love it. Your cap turned out great, good job!....jack
That’s a big camper and it might be in your limits but not by much, my camper weight capacity includes the hitch weight, so you are at 7400 lbs. not sure of other stuff you are carrying but it is going to be a different world then the Wolf Pup.
Perhaps spent some time on line and see what else...
I have to agree with JTBurns (Joe)my friend I have not met yet. Missed a couple trail get togethers cause of work and life. Modifing my Mojave for what I need to do, latest thing is putting a winch on mostly for help pulling trees out of my woods to the driveway. I’ve looked at people’s posts...
Winch plate came a couple days ago going to try to do it next week, weekends are busy as they should be! I’ll post pictures when doing it, looking over everything it should be nice…..Jack
Really modify the storage if possible so that it is above your hood and be done with it, taking off the rear tow hooks is an option, then get a hitch skid with shackle eye like the Warfab Sheridian. Could look at some small front bumper like perhaps like the aluminum Genright front bumper, looks...
I think the benches or shelves with light weight totes held in place by a lip on shelve, when at camp leave lids off and sort of use as a drawer. No matter what you do be a weight weenie, even heavy duty totes add a lot of weight, and keep the heavy stuff low. Again you are researching ,asking...
