I finally replaced the factory MT tires after they got ridiculously loud. I was specifically shopping for the Falken AT tires since I put them on the wife's JLU and I like them. I couldn't find anyone selling takeoffs or find a decent price from a retailer. In my search I found the Rutitrek AT AT a decent price, about 825.00 for four. I searched for reviews but couldn't find many, but I decided to buy them anyway. They have the same features as the Falken AT but with a different tread pattern in the center. I have a few hundred miles on the now and I'm pleased with them.

Whoever mounted & balanced those tires must have been in a rush. All leftover adhesive from the old stick-on weights should have been removed, and the area where the new weights are applied should have been cleaned with a wax/adhesive remover.

That’s how it is at all discount tire locations

Those look nice but my only concern is you got “P” (passenger) rated tires. They are only 4 ply, so they won’t hold up as well off road. If you don’t off road much they'll be fine, but they also have a lower load rating.
You are right they are P rated tires and I now realized that I f'd up. I'm not going to go through how or what happened, but I have a question.
I don't go heavy off reading or carry heavy loads very often, but I do tow a boat every weekend. Should I be concerned about the load rating? I have 3 options if the consensus is that I should change them to LT rated. First option I can try to fight the place where I bought them, but I doubt that I will get them to return them. Second option is to swap them with the wife's Rubicon take off Falken AT. Third is buying new tires and trying to recoup some of my money by reselling them.

You're fine, unless you were already really close to maxing them out. The max load on your Rubitreks say 2833 lbs. The max load on the Wildpeak ATs is 3195. I'd imagine it'll be a squishier ride under load, though.

Wife might enjoy the P-rated tires which might give a better ride on the Wrangler….Jack

Thanks for the reassurances. I usually spend hours when buying something and go through every detail. I was so sick of looking at tires and needed them installed before my inspection ran out at the end of the month that I overlooked the P rating. As mentioned above I'll probably just swap with the wife, the only thing that sucks is she has different rims so I'm going to have to have them dismounted and remounted. Oh well lesson learned.

^^That is for the E Load Range AT3Ws, not the Cs.

The max load for the factory C Load Range AT3W tires is 2755 lbs, which is actually lower than the "P" Rubitrek tires which are 2833 lbs.

Looking at the last post and how you drive and the fact they are ten pounds lighter per tire I would run them, and would not be worried , you might be able to run a bit higher PSI when towing if needed….Jack

Towed the boat over the weekend and the ass end of the truck felt like it had less bounce than with the original tires, maybe it's because they are new. So far I'm happy with them, they are a lot quieter then the MT, buy seem a little louder than the wife's Wildpeak ATs.
